I wish I didn't have this dumb medical condition that makes me so tired all the time.

Granted, now you get alot of energy. With this energy, you do a lot of things you would not normally do, and end up committing a murder and going to jail for it.

I wish I had 1000 dollars in my hand.

Granted - you get a 1000 dollars *in* your hand, as in *inside*. You have to peel off the skin on your hand in order to get it out and lose your hand in the process.

I wish I could decide what I want to do this afternoon.

Anyways, Granted, korinna, but once you get the million dollars, a fire occurs and burns you and your million dollars into charcoal.

Granted, you are now the picture of health. Being so healthy makes turns you into an athlete of great skill, and you go on to win everything in the 2008 Olympics. That pisses everyone else off, and they all get together, posion your food with illegal steriods and then report you to the authorities. After the test come back positive you are stripped of your medals and then banished from all sporting events for the rest of your life. You now wander the streets alone, sad but with great six-pack abs...until the homeless eat you for supper.

Granted - whoosh - you get the outfit, boots and electric whip-thingy... at a costume shop. You convince yourself that you can fly and do all sort of crazy shit, so you jump from a building, but the whip gets caught on something and you manage to strangle yourself.

I wish I had a button-thing I could push to make bad traffic in front of me disappear.

Granted. Your car being part of the bad traffic, the button takes everything forward of your boot-tips, leaving you in a silly-looking, useless wreck.

I wish there was a way to make a cold go away more quickly.

Granted - you invent a medicine that cures cold within two minutes, but it also makes your skin turn bright blue for two weeks.

Granted. You go out in the street and a car rams into you. You are luckily not injured that much, but you have a broken leg and a broken arm. You are taken to a hospital and then taken home in a car.

I wish my friend would be more optimistic about a party where her date will be.

Granted. Your friend is now SO optimistic that she is bitterly disappointed at the party, and comes home battered and broken.

Granted - your friends understand you SO WELL that they know everything about you and nothing you do is ever new, strange or exciting to them. They get bored with you and eventually oust you from the friendship circle.

I wish I could re-live an experience I had last night.

Granted. But as you re-live it this time, something goes horribly wrong and it turns into your worst nightmare which you are doomed to relive, forever.
