I must agree with the Gentleman though. It is much more quiet over here and I am enjoying it. I do believe the collective I.Q. is higher as well.

I like MySpace. It's great for music. Except for the shitty bands who try to add you as a friend just because you happen to reside in the same hemisphere as they do.

That is sick shit and F'Up I go to that site alot and I never hear or see that stuff going on their. I am always careful when I chat,talk or go on messageboards cause there are alot of fuked up people out there and worse than me. They do it for other reasons I guess. Thats messed up.

I know this board is really old, but I have some NEW INFORMATION on it. The trial dates have been set for the accused.

The arraignment for a 24-year-old man accused in the triple slaying of a Medicine Hat family has been adjourned until July.

Jeremy Allan Steinke will return to Medicine Hat's Court of Queen's Bench on July 19 to set a trial date.

He has been ordered to stand trial but has not yet entered a plea on three counts of first-degree murder.

His arraignment was adjourned Thursday.

A trial date will likely be scheduled for late next year, his lawyer, Alain Hepner, has said.

Steinke is accused of killing Marc and Debra Richardson and their eight-year-old son, Jacob, more than a year ago.

Steinke and his co-accused, a girl who was 12 at the time, are facing first-degree murder charges after the Richardson family was discovered slain in their home on April 23, 2006.

The girl has pleaded not guilty, and her trial is scheduled for next month. She is in custody at the Calgary Young Offenders Centre.

Friends say Steinke and the girl, who were arrested in Saskatchewan the day after the killings, were dating. The couple was found with several friends just across the Saskatchewan border, in Leader.

Steinke has completed a court-ordered psychiatric assessment at the Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary.

He is remanded in custody in Medicine Hat.

Two other teenagers are charged with being accessories after the fact in connection with the killings.

Kacy Lancaster, 19, is accused of providing a false alibi and destroying evidence.

The other is a 16-year-old girl, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

I have an account on VF but not all the peopole there are bad. It is a much better site than myspace, to say the least. But that site should have more control over what their people do.

Im sorry but when you create a website that is that popular/successful then you can complain about other peoples websites, to say its the owners fault is in my opinion out of order. Im sure there is problems on other websites, example: Myspace. Ive lost count of how much so called 'hatemail' i get on myspace, so whats the difference between myspace and vampirefreaks?
Everyone must have seen things on TV about internet pedos and so on, if people are silly enough to meet up with people then thats their own fault.
i do understand where the press are coming from, because alot of the profiles on vampirefreaks are unacceptable, pictures and other stuff material on there is unacceptable but yet again we have website about people like the suicide girls, now they arent doing anything wrong, if people take them sort of pictures the wrong way then they shouldnt look at them

i think VampireFreaks.com is a great website- but just like any other social website, it must be used with caution. it isn't the website's fault when people use it without care.
