Nah, it's not on tv anymore, you'd have to download episodes and stuff.

They play DBZ on Cartoon Network Saturdays @ 7. Though they're skipping this Saturday to play Spider-Man. I'm not sure if they play it regularly, but it would be odd to throw in a random episode just once...

I absolutely LOVE Shin Chan on Adult Swim.
Maybe its just because they show his little wee-wee!
But other than that my favorites are Rurouni Kenshin and Full Metal Alchemist. I still have to get through all the episodes of Full Metal.
Oh yeah and Samurai Jack... mmmmm... I wish they put out a soundtrack for that show. the music on there is amazing.

My favourite anime show is Yami no Matsuei, a truly wonderful series that nobody has ever heard of -_-U You should try and get some information about it, or read the manga if you can (it has an anime too, but the manga is way more beautiful).

They're actually releasing the seasons in DVD box sets for the price of a normal american tv show, not jacked up prices like a lot of anime.
My favorite by far I'd have to say is Fullmetal Alchemist. It's a bad ass show and has a wicked message to it. The second half of the show is even better than the first.

This takes me back. I watched anime until I was twelve, however, there are really only a few shows that I knew or liked:
Dragon Ball Z
Yu Yu Hakusho
If you want a decent anime movie, watch METROPOLIS, from the makers of Akira. Be warned; this movie is not for the faint.

I like Elfen Lied and Death Note, and the three episodes of the Angel Sanctuary anime that was adapted from the manga (way too short though).

Anime's that caught my attention are:
Higurashi, Full Metal Alchemist, Blood+, Hellsing, Gungrave.
I like animes that inspire people to think and be creative.
Twisted and unpredictable plots are my cup of tea as well.

Gundam Wing is just a classic, and Outlaw star was absolutely cool.
Has anyone else seen the episode of Hellsing where they just casually talk about ***** films? Was that awkwardly humorous or was that just me?

Spirited Away.
It's by far the best anime movie I've seen Up-to-date.
Gundam Wing's my 2nd favourite anime series/movie

I knew I came to this forum for a reason. Cowboy Bebop is like the best anime EVER.
Strangely, it's actually not that well known over here.
Some bugger "borrowed" my full set and I never got it back. Oh, the humanity!

I got the Cowboy Bebop manga from our library and liked them okay, but I had a hard time following the story line. Is it better as anime? I'm thinking about joining Netflix or Blockbuster Online just to have access to more anime.
I know it's not a TV show, but back when I lived in LA and our video store carried anime, I loved Devil Hunter Yohko. There was another awesome movie or series that I can NOT recall for the life of me, with the living mechanized doll? And the Earth was a junkyard -- I think it was set in the not too distant future. Anyone want to try guessing that one?

Seto on Yo-Gi-Oh
Dep? on Ronan Warriors (Guy with blue hair. It's been a long time since I've seen it.)

At the moment I've been watching Cowboy Bebop & Naruto. I prefer the Japanese versions rather than the ones done in English. I still love Transformers..

I saw Ronan Warriors when I was nine. *reminisces* I loved that show.
And if you want to see a disturbing-but-moving anime movie, see METROPOLIS. It's by the people who were behind AKIRA, so expect gore.

I love Hellsing (the anime more than the OVA series), Samurai X, Bleach, Death Note, Spirited Away, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, and Elfen Lied. Realllly love Elfen Lied (so much so I forgot to mention it in my Introduction). Afro Samurai was okay. I sort of like Ergo Proxy, but I've only seen half of it.
I used to really like Dragonball Z back in the day. Dragonball GT, however, was an absurd transformation (no pun intended).

I used to be a huge anime fan, now I mostly just like some manga and a few anime movies, not really any series. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is by far my favourite Japanese animation film (and is also on my list of favourite movies).
Still going to the local anime convention this year, but that's mostly because I'll be able to see some friends I haven't seen for ages.

FMA. The English version sucks, the original Japaneese one with subtitles is the best.
