Tam, are you serious?
You're making a mockery of both your religion and weddings with this attitude.

Dead serious.
And exactly in what way am I making a mockery of anything? I'm looking forward to spending the rest of my life with my Beloved, but I could spend the rest of my life with -any- friend. My Beloved is extra-special because we'll be able to make love. Have sex. Make whoopie. Make out. Enjoy one another carnally.
For a Christian, that's a VERY big deal. We aren't supposed to just go out and do it with just anyone, ya know, so I've been holding out for a LONG time, mostly because I didn't just want to do it with anyone, and because I wanted to be sure that the guy I make love to on a regular basis is my one and only.
And now, mama needs her man in every possible way. What's wrong with that? Are Christians not supposed to think about sex or have hormones?
Silly Ophie; I'm just as horny as the next 30-year-old gal. ^____^ Is it wrong of me to admit that?

First of all, please stop being so condescending--you're embarrassing yourself, and it's just childish.
Anyway, yes, I realize sex is a big deal.
That's why I give it the respect it deserves, and don't talk about my sex life in such a cavalier and joking way. You're acting like a frat boy.
Second, sex is not what marriage is about. If that's what you're excited about and choose to share with others, you should really rethink going through with this.
Lastly--and this is just a hunch--the sex isn't going to be good.
No, I'm not saying that to be mean.

I'll go out and check him but I doubt it. I'd soon have him back up the vets if he started turning pink and secreting abseiling gear about himself ! And I really don't a "rabbit" so nyer!

I do just want to say that Ophie is right about the sex being bad, it will hopefully get better but if you're a virgin, especially if he is as well, then the sex is going to less than amazing until you both get a bit of experience. So don't build it up to be something amazing because then your wedding night will just be a disappointment.

I really don't see why some of you think Metabolik is so good looking.

The boyfriend. I know that he's been "on the run" for about two years now, and every time he's stopped by the police for any reason at all he could be sent away. I haven't heard from him, nor have I noticed any signs of his existence, since Thursday. I'm afraid that going to his house will only be a waste.

What did he do to be on the run? Why doesn't he just face the music and get it over with so he can walk again as a free man without worry?
Seems a drag to live that way, always hiding and fearing sudden loss of freedom.
Not to be less sympathetic by the way, you have a sudden loss of companionship that must be a drag too.
