*head pat* you poor thing, school sucks!! College rules!!

My exam today was to determine my level in english before i register subjects in college
You see, we have basically 3 english subjects, grammar and so... I dropped two because my result came out outstanding
I took the exam in 5 minutes, it had 50 questions, i got only 5 answers wrong... Which is very good

I took a computer test as well, but i didn't do that good, because in school we took computer in arabic, so my technological vocabulary isn't that good... I got 78%

I'm such a nerd!! I finished both exams in 15 minutes!!

Oooh! Well done!

Do the keyboards type in arabic? And do they do the joined up words (are they words that are joined up, or sentences?) or are the letters separate?

The keyboards that are sold here have arabic letters on them, the letters on them are seperate, but when you type, they join
Only words are joined in arabic... But not every letter is join-able, it's a whole system here

We have arabic windows, office, everything... Which is stupid, it does nothing to empower kids' language..

Just finished moving the stuff I left behind at my old apartment, she finally found a new roommate. I didn't realize I have so many books! With all the books I got after I initially moved out, there's no room in my bookcase, I had to stack books and fit them in somehow. It was like playing tetris, actually.

On the other hand, she somehow broke the feet off of an Egyptian statue I had.....

I have moved out now.
The place I am staying is costing me £50/week including food and bills (though I may contribute more if I wish), and is actually much nicer than the room I had before!
Hurrah for ridiculously lovely and generous people! They're only taking the £50 week because I will insist on paying.

Trade you. I've got the inexplicable urge to continue writing, despite what I'm writing being dull, trite, cliche, and a rip off of both Ellis and McInerney.

As some of you may have noticed I am spending less and less time on the boards and I just wanted to let you all know that it is simply due to classes starting. I have a lot less free time than I did before and now all of my friends are back in the area so what little time I have I tend to spend with them instead of on here, chances are that I will drop off the boards for a few weeks and then pop back on once I get into a regular rhythm.

On another note we found out that my roommate's hamster is in fact not a boy, Mitchy must have been improperly sexed and now we have five baby hamsters. We separated MoMo so that there is no risk of him hurting the babies and Mitchy seems to be a good mom, now we just have to find homes for all the babies and figure out what we are going to do with the adults.

That is what I thought, I mean I could maybe understand a boy being mistaken for a girl but I would think that they wouldn't call one a boy without seeing dangly bits, but the person at the pet store assured Caty that Mitchy was a boy and they were quite wrong

I wonder if it is better to lust and lose, than to love and lose.

Fucking definitely.
To lust is to need another person for reasons that are not endemic to that person, whereas the way in which we feel love is entirely dependent on for whom we feel it. Lust is always the same, but each time we love, we do so differently, and thus the void that exists when the object of one's lust is no longer available can be filled easily, while the same can't be said for that created by lost love.

Dammit, I didn't want to think particularly deeply at 2 AM. Oh well, still nice input.

I'll be asking a complete stranger out this week. On the bright side, no one at my new school has the power to make my life hell.

Pretty mind-blowing insight, right? Not an obvious deduction at all. There's going to be a book of my wisdom one day.

Oh yes, absolutely incredible how it inspires so many paths of thoughts, especially when you're essentially high from sleep deprivation... Then again, perhaps it shouldn't count simply because of that.

Man the people upstairs are watching Two And A Half Men, have the volume up on bust and its 4:18 am. That stupid theme song is going to get stuck in my head.

Not as bad as the other day when the Power Rangers theme song got stuck in my head, though

EDIT: holy shit they just keep playing that stupid song over and over!
