I know that the Hamburger Helper mascot is supposed to make you think that cooking with their product is so easy it's like having an extra hand.
But if you actually used that hand for something useful in the kitchen ... say, picking up a hot pan for instance ... you'd burn his nose right off!

Man, I'm so tempted to go bake another ginger cake tonight. Sweet, sticky cake with that nice little fiery hit in it.
Realistically, though? Laundry and ironing. Fuck ironing, and jobs which require clothes to have been ironed. Looking conventionally presentable takes more effort than doing my actual job.
Also: one of the nice men at the monthly social things I go to gave me speakers. I can hear music properly again, with individually adjustable bass and treble and volume. I've missed being able to really really hear what I'm listening to. I was starting to forget about all the layers of sound that I used to love, and now I have them back.

Jacob has a new job. The hours are better, the work is better, the pay is way better, and there will be room for growth as they will be training him in additional duties starting in a few months.

I am so sick of recent arrivals posting introductions that don't introduce anything.
If you start an introduction and feel compelled to say things like "I don't know what to say", "I can't pick an author/film/music that I really like" or "I don't really like talking about myself" ... then why fucking bother posting an introduction.
It's irritating as hell and only serves to give us all the impression that you are an empty headed idiot!
