GED is harder than you think...
I'd really consider going back to schizzle.

Too many people, hard to concentrate with the assholes, and if I went back... it'll mean 3 more years with people are worse jackasses than the ones who were in my class.

Duane, No offense meant and none taken, I hope, but consider this. Okay. You can always say to the 'assholes', especially the opinionated ones, 'Your're entitled to your opinions, but guess what, I'm not.' That drops the 'ball' back in their court, because if people are hassling you it's THEIR issue, not yours. (That's not the same as saying, "That's just your opinion" -- therefore it doesn't count. What you're saying, in so many words, is, 'If you don't like the way I look, don't look. Nobody's forcing you to do that'). Then, just walk away -- or walk off if you're in a classroom. (That's the equivalent of using the 'ignore' function -- and would'nt it be nice if we had that function in life).

You do know that there are still bunches of assholes in college right?

Duane, let me tell you something.
There are assholes everywhere.
When you get out of college, there will be assholes there.
I say them then their opinion doesn't matter and from then on be polite.
You have to show them their negativity doesn't get to you.

...no they really aren't, if anything they are worse because they can become members of organizations devoted to being assholes and they develop a lovely gang mentality (not that all frats are bad, but a good number of them are)

You're right, Solumina, -- and on the highway and at work.
So, Duane, dude, work on your coping mechanisms. There are basically a few things you can do when other people make THEIR issues, YOUR issues: 1) Cope with it yourself. 2) Get help from somebody else so you can cope with it. 3) Get on medication that will help you cope with it, or 4) Just walk away from it. Sometimes #4 entails having to leave the situation altogether, which you have done. However, you've taken some positive steps in the right direction. 1) You have not allowed it to defeat you because you are getting your GED. 2) You have long-range goals, i.e. college, so you haven't given up. That's terrific. 3) You may have let the 'turkeys' get you down, but you didn't STAY down. You got back up and you're apparently getting 'back in the game', so, STAY IN THAT FRAME OF MIND. If you can go back to school, try. (Maybe try a different school, if possible). If not, stick to your goals and 'hang in there.' Good luck, dude.

Live life to the fullest....so full in fact, that it spills over and pours onto your skin and burns it so that you rot in front of your own eyes.
Night is not a good time for me, especially when its cold and you don't have anyone to share the cold with.

Hee, I am. But lately I've been okay with having small amounts of milk so I assumed I'd be able to make it.

I seem to be slightly lactose intolerant. I feel icky if I have a spontaneous glass of milk, but I can have cheese and milk on cereal and dairy sauces on my pasta. I miss being able to have a glass of milk .

Most people are lactose intolerant, it gets worse as you get older. I'm losing my tolerance but I'm stubborn, I like cheese and chocolate milk. Sour cream gives me a wicked stomach ache though.
