A blue-haired, heavily pierced Goth from South Shields has told Sky Tyne and Wear how he was refused entry to a Newcastle pub due to his choice of clothing.

I've witnessed the same because of my uniform.

No big deal, I spat on the ground, and spent my money on another place. And of course, downvoted them on the internet. Without a missile launcher, that was the most I could do.

When I was in Ireland a few years ago, I was wearing some "Arctic pants" I had purchased on Amazon. Ireland was cold in February and I've acclimated to the weather in Florida...these pants were amazing and keeping me warm and keeping the wind out. Anyway, I was outside of a pub one night trying to go in for a drink and the bouncer stopped me. "Are those trousers?" He asked and looked at the other guy. They both kind of shrugged and let us in. Bougie isn't really our scene so after one drink we left.
