Hey now, I bought my first Bolt Thrower album because of the cover art: I was really into Warhammer 40k at the time. But Bolt Thrower is 100000x better than Cannibal Corpse.

Just go into a record store, into whatever section you want, grab something and buy. Just look at the side part, with the name of the band and the album title. I discovered some fantastic bands / artists like that.

I used to do that, now it's just downloading bands that sound cool and if it sucks I'll delete it. More often than not it sucks, but like you, I've found some really good stuff. I don't have money to buy albums anymore

Yea, I'll do that sometimes. I've scored a few really rare vinyls outta the discount bins over the years.

I get a lot of Merzbow in bargain bins, I think people bring it in and the manager is like "wtf is this shit" and dumps it in the bin. More scorez 4 me!

I used to find tons of early Dilloway stuff in charity shops in the UK. I'm convinced there's someone out there who goes around putting noise tapes / CDs into random stores.
