Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL. |

If you could listen to one band for the rest of your life, what would it be?
For me, Alien Sex Fiend. I love them THAT much...

I could probably leave Boneshaker Baby on repeat for the rest of my life and die a very happy lady, haha.
Lately it's been looking like I could listen to the Smiths forever, but I'm not sure they have enough variety to keep me going into my centenarian-ship. I'd be tempted also to pick ASF because they have the trifecta of variety, hilarity and musical genius. And a massive discography to boot.

You can't make me make that decision. :P!
But if I really think about it, it'd probably be Lycia. They have a pretty original sound with some awesome drums going on, I can never get bored of Ionia.

Dead Kennedys, any time.

There is no way I could narrow it done to 1!
But it'd either be:
Carcass
Bathory
Nausea
Doom

Rozz Williams, because that would technically include every single musical project that he has been involved in.

Samael, they started out dark and raw, refining their sound with each album until the hit their third, at which point they started experimenting. i love their sound.

The Cure, I usually listen to a lot of different music all the time based on my mood, but The Cure is the only band that has an album for every mood I'm in.
Like Cicero said I feel like I could listen to Xymox all the time too, but I don't think they have quite enough variety.

Hmm... A tough decision... In all honsety I'd probably say The Cure, because they have many CDs and I love their music. But then I think about TOOL and my neverending love for them...
