As I walked into my father’s room it smelled like him. He had been dead now for nearly a week, but in here it seemed like he was still alive. I sat on his bed and looked through a box of old pictures that he had saved. It was hard to believe that someone who had lived such a wicked life would only have a handful of pictures to be remembered by. Hello from Gothic Punk Specialty Hardware,

Im finally getting around to updating the blog. Its been a busy couple of weeks, and of course, thats a good thing. G.P.S.Hardware is attached to a regular machine shop, so when we get busy with the machine shop, it makes it hard to put in as much time as I would like on this stuff.

Anyhow, The roller...

a stranger i know,
a man dressed in black,
shot a a smile through my heart
as he turned to look back.

the look in his eyes,
it was too hard to read.
so i awoke with a fear,
trying to contemplate what id seen.

was it sorrow or anger?
a mix of heartache and disgust?
i want to follow my feelings but
its hard when theres none to trust.

i wanted to go to him, say
"lover what did i do?"...

Sunday night, June 27th, was amazing. Why you ask? Because Furthur (the Grateful Dead minus Jerry and a few other originals) played at the baseball stadioum in none other than Coney Island. And I went (of course). My parents, few family friends, and I went. My bf and I went our seperate ways from the others and saw a sideshow. Then we went back to see the show and have our own fun.
The band was awesome. They playe Fire on the Mountain, Sugar Magnolia, Dear Mr. Fantasy, and many sweet songs....
