So, a blog. Why not. It's been coming up far more lately in conversation. A number of peers have it. I'm not sure why it's now more colloquial to write on the internet for strangers to read than it is to write in a diary by hand. But some people make a living off it and thousands more do it. If you're reading these words, the odds are good you're one of those people. Maybe even if you're not.
Commonly what I've seen blogs used for is a medium for emotional vomit. Unedited vomit pouring from the mouth, devoid of logic or rationale. Better out than in, they say. Blogs have such a stigma attached though, it's easy to feel like a bored housewife. Maybe it's just me.
I'm never sure of how much to say because I don't know who will read this. I don't even know if I would read it. Probably not. The last thing I need is someOne reading something less than complimentary and getting pissy about it. I honestly don't care if I offend people by my opinions, thought processes, procees, thinking, and bitterness, I mostly just don't want to deal with the fallout. There's probably a reason I didn't' say it to their faces. But you're not going to tell. You don't know me and I don't know you, and let's keep it that way.
I'm additionally leery of turning this into nothing but a lot of bitchy nonsense. It does need to come out, but one must always be mindful to take into account the A's and B's of the report card of life, without getting hung up on the <C grades. How does a successful blog get started though? I assume the writer writes about whatever they want to write about, be it a delicious soup, new cardigan or a trying day of life. My wife uses it as a way to identify with others who share her obsessions and air her fears and grievances, as well as her revelations and happinesses. I actually got this idea from her, as I have noticed it seems to do her a great deal of good to have somewhere silent to scream.
So hear me scream.
Just kidding. I hate to raise my voice. It seems if the situation has deteriorated to me having to shout, there is an imbalance in the world which must be corrected.
