Peter Murphey vs. The Bauhaus

Ummm...this just in from the AP wire service....Bauhaus broke up in 1983. They reunited a few years ago but Go Away White is their only new material since the breakup (not counting live CDs of their reunion shows). Also, there's no E in Murphy and it's fairly rare to hear Bauhaus called "The Bauhaus".

Ian Curtis and Rozz Williams are dead too, just in case you didn't hear.

Seriously tho, there's no shortage of Bauhaus and spin off material out there and no shortage of places and ways to get it. I have nearly 60 CDs and that isn't even all of it. I'd start with an Amazon search. If I get time I'll PM you some suggestions.

I Am Forsaken! [or, WoW Is A Time Eater.]

Sudo make me a sammich.

But yes, cooking has thankfully replaced WoW, although I do get cravings for it sometimes.

A Staple in Time Saves Nine Fish.

I've had stitches before, but honestly, I think that the staples work better to keep the skin together while it heals. =)

Btw, that's a snazzy new icon! Skeleton men FTW!!

Wow. I guess I'm not keeping up on the whole Gnet blogosphere because I didn't even know you had the surgery already. Staples have pretty much replaced stitches tho. My ex wife had her appendix removed in the late 90s and they used staples then. I always thought staples were a cheap, lazy way for the doctor to avoid sewing stitches but I guess they work well enough.

The surgeon used staples instead of stitches to close up the holes they made to get the gall bladder out. There were four holes in all, and I'm not sure how many staples in all.

The surgeon said that they also stitched up some of my muscles internally with regular stitches, and that I have to take it easy so that the muscles can heal back together and...stuff.

Morphine comes in a little glass vial...

hey there.

I had the same operation done and am also gall -bladder- less....about 4 and a half years ago, i was in my final year of school. i know how ill it can make you, and trust me you will be feeling lots better soon enough, if you look after yourself and not eat the wrong things. and if you really feel ill during the first few days, peel a carrot and an apple and grate it finely and put it in the fridge for about 20 min. thats the most easily digestble food around...good luck. its no fun, but you will be better soon

But I know you were talking about a career change when you mentioned going overseas. Sorry for commenting with something not so relevant - its just a different option that might be even more exciting (my opinion.)

I think she was referring to whoever she believes in. God. I might be wrong.

Just a suggestion - if you are able to stick to your job a little longer to save up a small lump of money, then perhaps you could walk into your nearest travel agent and ask if they could list out the available aid trips to places.
That could be maybe a 2 week trip to Nepal, or somewhere in Thailand and other places...
This is something I want to do after I get the money and the time and the head sapce to do it. And because there are 2 week trips which is quite a short time - maybe your partner could go with you ?

Stupid...being sick. And the meaning of "Lady" in "Lady Tam"

You know what, if my woman had caught a bug, but wanted to have a sexy time... you better believe she'd be getting it.

Either that, or I'd be humping her leg. I'm that horny. haha.
