Hey there hun. Yeah I've pretty much kept myself to myself today. I realised I only joined the site to talk about Gothic things not to get abused and into pointless agrguments.

Belly dancing is a thing more and more people seem to be getting into. It's interesting though my aunt does belly dancing and she said that there was this goth girl there who did a performance and put on some "darker sounding music" to dance with so whe might be over 5000 miles away but you're not alone

I listen to lots of different music too. I believe if you want to call yourself a musician you should be prepared to take in cultural references from all styles from all cultures. If you're not willing to do this you should just call yourself "Rock musician" or "dance musician" or whatever. A musical style dies when it is unwilling to evolve and runs out of ideas is my belief.

Hey that's cool. I wont backstab my friends to get in with anyone else there's no point eh? Plus my favourite instrument is the flute, and I liked it before american pie as well lol. Jazz flute sounds amaaaazing. A close second is the guitar though. I think it's because i've played most instruments I like except the flute so it still has an air of mystery to it. Plus you blow across it rather than rely on a reed to vibrate, although thinking about it now the Oboe is a very cool instrument as well. It sounds awesome as a middle eastern type "mystery" instrument.
The sax is very cool. I was improvising on it to Lacuna Coil's halflife today if you can believe it!
