This is not a poem

In a year I've experienced a lifetime!
In a month I've experienced three years!
even the boring days are filled with light
How about you?
Can you look back to a thousand days
with a thousand memories
of delight?
Or do you look back and ask yourself
Where did my time go?
What have I done?
Where have I been?
Why if I don't like it?
If that's you
STOP
Enjoy life
lay back and eat ice cream
Dream back of the days where you were little
and you didn't care about tying your shoes

I like it, but I don't think it's very good.

I understand you said it's not a poem, but I guess then it'd have to be a collection of thoughts, but it isn't elegant or profound.

As a child I was very averse to the chore of tying my shoelaces, and therefore procured for myself these bizarre elastic springs that would secure a shoe to one's foot without requiring to be tied. Naturally, they appeared ridiculous, and earned me much ridicule from my peers, in turn provoking me to wonder why society dared to arbitrarily judge such a utile device to be somehow shameful. Eventually, I was visited by epiphany- compared to me, society was stupid. Why should I be bound by standards contrived by stupid people? Thus I forged ahead on the path to becoming a god.
