As a child I was very averse to the chore of tying my shoelaces, and therefore procured for myself these
bizarre elastic springs that would secure a shoe to one's foot without requiring to be tied. Naturally, they appeared ridiculous, and earned me much ridicule from my peers, in turn provoking me to wonder why society dared to arbitrarily judge such a utile device to be somehow shameful. Eventually, I was visited by epiphany- compared to me, society was stupid. Why should I be bound by standards contrived by stupid people? Thus I forged ahead on the path to becoming a god.
