JacquelineTM Intro Addendum!!!

I wanted to add that I really like gothic.net and I'm glad to be a member of this very cool site.

But, the main reason that I wanted to elaborate on my "intro" is to say that I don't mind being flamed... I've been online for a long time and the worst flamings that I've ever received would have been from "goths" (newsgroups, forums, etc...), but I take it all in stride. Sometimes, something completely idiotic is spewed from my thoughts into text.

It's not probable to have every single person like you and like what you have to say... that's a fact of life... and I have no misperceptions about it.

I like smartarses... I find that their sense of humour is really witty. It's not always the "best of times" to be flamed, but I can take it. :}

This might as well have been posted in the "whiner" section, but I'm not whining! :} Just letting you all know more about me.

Cool site... love it!

It's the novel that the Showtime series "Dexter" is based on. Imagine rooting for a serial killer... sounds absolutely impossible, but Dexter was found at a crime scene by a cop that took him in as a foster child. When the cop realized that Dexter showed the early signs of a serial killer, Harry (his foster father/cop) helped channel what he was going through into killing only those who deserved it (basically other serial killers that the cops couldn't catch). I never thought that a fictional serial killer would have me rooting for him, but the show works and the second season starts later this year. In the show, Dexter works in Blood Splatter Forensics.

But it's warm beer. I've never been allowed beer meant to be served warm though.

Yep, the cellist.

LUCKY!!!!!!! I want to go back to Germany! Last summer, I was invited to a German/Goth music festival (to film), but I wasn't given much notice. Enjoy yourself... I know you'll have a great time!

Yep, the cellist.

Not only warm beer, but they used to serve Coca-Cola at room temperature without ice! Grr. :}

Yes, I referred to Jacqueline Mary du Pré in the past tense because I believe she died in the late 1980's. I could be wrong though.

I have had a taste of the old country... the warm beer (and they served it to me when I was only 10 or 11... the laws have changed to 18 to drink, I think, now though) didn't bother me... it was the room-temp. coca cola without ice that annoyed me. Whenever I asked for ice, I was looked as if I was CRAZY! Heh. The only place, at the time I spent in Germany, that has ice in their soft drinks would have been McDonald's, in Munich. :}

One culture shock is the dish they serve that consists of RAW ground beef, topped with raw egg yolk... uh...I cound't stomach that at all. :}

Thank you!

Yes, I got lucky and knew a few people in the business. Independent Films are the only movies I've worked on, so far. But I'm currently working on an independent film of my own... a short film.

Luckily, I have a professional film scorer who will compose the music and since he and I are friends, I don't have to worry about his "fee". :}

I'm vague about what I'm filming until I actually can get a draft submitted to the parties interested. I can say that this is an artistic film and is about things I went through as a child. No, nothing mopey... it has a dark-humor side to it and I've been enjoying working on this film the most. I have a few more projects, even a documentary about "goths" in the works, but I want to finish what I've started first.

Your film sounds cool!

That documentry on Goths sounds interesting, are you going to submit it to any TV stations ?. My film takes place in a haunted wood and its very surreal, and has a really heavy soundtrack to it !!!. The only problem is that I have to tidy up the editing a little and sort out the soundtrack, as music is very expensive to get permission for !!!. Anyway best of luck with your film, it sounds really interesting !!!.

The documentary has already been pitched to a "premium cable channel" and I'm trying to get everything scheduled, so that I won't go past my deadline. I've had some obstacles though, so I hope that everything goes smoother soon. Scheduling conflicts really bite. :}

Thank you and same to you... Best of luck to you and your film also sounds very interesting! I love spooky movies.
