My favorite part is when Neil Patrick Harris shows up.

I saw them talking about this on O'Reily today. He was all pissed off as if it was spreading hatred and taking it VERY seriously. In my opinion when I guy like that misses the joke, it means that humor has succeeded in making a valid point.

Gay people who disagree with the marriage ban = Closet Fascists.

The common man has spoken; he doesn't want homosexuals getting married.

The common man could ban fat people from marrying. Why the common man cares if gay people marry strikes me as rather odd. It doesn't have any effect on the "common man", it just has a negative effect on someone else. It's almost as if they think that putting gays as second-class citizens is going to mean there will be less gays. They already tried that with blacks and Mexicans. I see no reason why it should work, now.

Didn't you say you liked the quote:
"Historically, the claim of consensus has been the first refuge of scoundrels; it is a way to avoid debate by claiming that the matter is already settled."

Alright, so if the common man elected to immediately lynch all nig.gers then it's kosher right?

If it were up to the fucking "common man", Blacks would still be in slavery, they wouldn't be allowed to get married and they wouldn't be allowed to get married to white people, either.
Face it. The "common man" is scared of change. Why the fuck would Gays getting married affect what the "common man" does in his daily life? It's none of his fucking buisness because it doesn't fucking affect the "common man".
IMO, the "common man" sounds like a fat, old, red-necked Christian who hates Gays simply because they're Gay. Move on with the times!

Go watch To Kill a Mockingbird and tell me that the common man should be allowed to make absolute decisions.
