Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL.

depeche mode

I love depeche mode. I know they are not goth as such but they are excellent and some of their stuff is music to slit your wrists to. What gets on my nerves is the fact they are so underrated when they are so successful. Also people keep asking me why i like them when they are not actually goth. I am just wondering actually how many goths like them to and what are their opinions on depeche mode.

You're a twit. This should be just a general discussion of the group in general (which has probably already been made but whatever) goth or not, anyone can listen.

"Music to slit your wrist to"
Do me a favor and call Taking Back Sunday and suggest this as a possible compilation title album.

DEPECHE!!

I <3 Depeche. As for the "music to slit your wrists to" thing, it's more like "music made to cause such people to cut themselves(it's what they do)". It is very powerful stuff....

What's your favorite DM song?

Depeche Mode is sexy, hot fun. It is so dark and sentual. I don't who gave you the idea it's "slit your wrist" music. Have you ever heard their music.

Sea of Sin

Strange Love

"There'll be times when my crimes will seem almost unforgivable. I give in to sin, because you have to make this life livable."

"That's how my love goes."

"Pain will you give it to me again and again, Pain.

His voice is so deep, it is like sex through music.

Their song "Enjoy the Silence" was covered by an amazing goth metal band, Lacuna Coil I think it's worth listening to.

I've said it before and I'll say it agin: Lacuna Coil's lead man singer looks like a pedophile.

I don't like them; I get this feeling when I listen to them that reminds me of generic Cheeze Whiz. They should've left Depeche alone.
