"Fundamentalism."

Some definitions:

A "fundamentalist" is a person who actually means what they say, and is not full of double talk and bullshit.

A "radical" is a person who arrives at his opinions through a process of independent reflection, instead of servile pandering to the prejudices of his fellow creatures.

An "extremist" is a person who wants to make his actions correspond to his beliefs, rather than wallow interminably in non-committal self immasculation.

Just thought I would get that out there. Next time you hear one of these words uttered, remember to replace it in your mind with "witch". It helps you get over that momentary impulse to take it seriously, just because it's coming from a guy wearing a suit on television.

This is why "kill your television" is such good advice.

The internet on the other hand allows the viewer to create and use his own filters and focus, not someone else's.

Agreed HP. Might be the reason why I stopped watching T.V. along time ago. Though, you can filter the T.V. out...somewhat. =/

Haha, awesome! I think I'll actually replace those words with "witch" from now on. I can always use a good giggle. I mean...an evil chuckle...yeah.

True that. The Internet is by far and away the greatest technological advancement of mankind for a long time. Close to zero information control. You can see why the powers that be have chronic panic attacks about it. Somebody might actually learn something that's true, instead of what's good for them.

Limitless information is available at the tips of your fingers on the internet. And what do most people use it for?
