So I'm following the rules and here is my introduction post before I do anything else, I've been lurking a bit and finally decided to join.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I play guitar and flute as well as a bit of piano and compose my own music, love drawing, painting, reading, and cats. I also have an interest in body modification (piercings, tattoos, etc.) and cosmetology, particular alternative methods of healthy hair care. Sewing is fun, I've taught myself and love to alter and make clothes since I have a low clothing budget and would rather spend the money on other things. Anime is pretty awesome, but only certain ones. Lately I've gotten bored with all the teenage angst and pretty boys that flood the new ones.

2. Where are you from?
East Cost USA

3. Who is your favorite author?
Not one in particular, but I enjoy the basic list: Poe, Anne Rice, Oscar Wilde, J.K. Rowling, J.R.R. Tolkien...a lot more I can't think of right now.

4. What are your favorite films?
Rocky Horror, Edward Scissorhands, Labyrinth, Lion King, Virgin Suicides, The Dark Crystal, The Sword in the Stone, Thumbellina, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and way too many more to list.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Haven't really thought about it since it's not anywhere near.

6. At your funeral?
The 3rd movement of Gustav Mahler's 1st Symphony, it's a funeral march based on Frère Jacques.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Also haven't thought about it, something at least interesting. Maybe mauled to death by badgers.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
I'd rather be cremated and put in a nice, space conserving jar than take up space in the earth.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Anything I've really put effort in to making myself and am proud of.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Making messes and not getting in trouble.

11. What's your favorite band?
Too many to choose from, but if I had to pick just one probably Type O Negative or, if classical composers count, either Todd Goodman, Ralph Vaughan Williams, or Gustav Holst. I'm big into classical, baroque, opera, and modern classical. I also love The Birthday Massacre, Switchblade Symphony, and The Sisters Of Mercy.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Right now I'm starting college in a few weeks undecided, but probably some form of arts major. I'd really love to be a professional body piercer someday.

13. Why did you join?
I'm addicted to internet forums and this one pertains to my interests.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Female

So that about sums it up. Hope I wasn't too boring!

Grades? You mean like grade level? I was never formally taught on flute, it was more or less picked up from middle school band and became a hobby of mine. I took guitar lessons for a while and can read music to play, but I'm lazy and prefer tabs. Music theory fascinates me to no end, I guess that makes me a nerd. Thank you

Yeah, I meant like anything from peliminary exam to a diploma.
I don't do grades in flute or guitar either, but I do grades on piano and music theory, and compose a little too.

And music theory doesn't make you a nerd lol. I love it too!
