Which sounds more fun?
Learning various folk dances or learning to ballroom dance?

Various folk. They are harder, but give you a wider range of motion, skills and music to get the groove on to

Ballroom seems like it would be more structured, I learn better in a structured environment. Learning something quickly is fun, therefor ballroom would be more fun.

I disagree, there are loads of different types and styles of ballroom dance, involving just as many cultures and music as folk. Personally I already know quite a few ballroom dances so I would enjoy the opportunity to learn something different.

Fair enough, I suppose. The ballroom style I have studied are limited, so my view is maybe skewed.
Folk may be a better option as many folk styles do not require a partner.

I'd go for ballroom. I can't actually dance either so I go for the pretty costumes and what all I could do to make them look even better. Mwhahaha..

My girlfriend says ballroom dancing and she has taken at least ten types of dance for 15 years.

Now I really can't decide. I figure I'd like to take folk dancing, though I am determined to finally learn to waltz.

Which sounds more fun, spinning around until you fall over or eating beef?

My first instinct is to say neither, I'd rather be a couch potato. But if I had to choose I'd say ballroom.

The first result on youtube for folk dancing was infinitely more palatable than the first result for ballroom dancing, so I'm going to give my vote to Georgian Folk Dancing.

Or do you suppose archery would be more enjoyable?
I just finished fencing class and need to fulfill my gym requirement with one more activity. There are too many choices that I'm fond of.

I'd go with archery but if you keep asking us we'll just make you more confused. Get a dart board ^_^
