Actually Bella gave me the nudge to write Town and Turret with the idea of using Gnet members as the characters in the story, with the result that my story became the number six top most read thread of all time in the Gnet Literature forum, so I like her:

In which you wrote about your fantasy about me being gay.
Seriously, though, Bella was OK. Just simple and misguided. Instead of nurturing, all she got was laughed at. Granted, some chumps deserve to be laughed at (At least two threads come to mind), but she wasn't one of them. It's fairly evident she had approximately zero friends, which in itself is depressing when you realise she was just a little girl. All she wanted was someone to talk to. She was OK.

She may have gotten a lot of shit but she did get a lot of nurturing as well.
I remember many times when I tried my best to be supportive and considerate of members who seemed rather misguided only to have them take advantage of me if they thought it would somehow serve their interests, Bella never did anything like that.

I don't quite remember it that way, though he was responsible.
I remember when Duckie first showed up here, I honestly wasn't a fan but he has grown on me.

That bit I don't remembered.
I remember when Opteron tried to change the laws of physics.

He copped on and stopped making dumb threads, which is a shame.
Hey, Opteron Man, be stupid some more!

I remember some weird troll we had back when I was new.. What was his name... Uncle something. Uncle... Anyone remember that guy? He was very obsessed with giving people burns by use of words.

The whole dead boyfriend account was brutal. I agree, he was stupid to bully the guy to pick him up, but the account was too much.
The parody threads inspired by Opterons' threads, however, were funny.

Man, sometimes the glissando on my irony harp is just breathtaking!
Anyway, long story short, nobody had AIDS and everyone got played.

The AIDS wasn't real either? I went back to that other place that shall not be mentioned and looked it up, he said he had cancer and he only had a few months to live. I think he mentioned here at Gnet, or maybe EPS mentioned it that he was living with AIDS.

I don't remember Shade killing a boyfriend and then having the boyfriend rise from the dead and create an account! Where the hell was I? Is that why he's gone? Goddamnit.
I remember when Opteron used to make a bunch threads asking everyone how he looked and then he never made his photobucket private so I looked in it and there were several pictures of him posing in his underwear. The funny part is that he changed underwear, like he was trying to see which color suited him best-the red or the black nut huggers?

He said he had AIDS when he was here, so that info traveled along as common knowledge for everyone else when he went to the other place. Then he said he had cancer at the other place, then he said he had taken a bunch of sleeping pills to kill himself ... and left a rambling, fading post as if he was nodding off.
EPS and Xnguela had gotten quite a bit of personal info on him over the years, so they went crazy calling family members and friends to try to save his life. They got in touch with his father who said he didn't have AIDS and he had faked everything. So that ended with everyone pissed as hell at him. And, at this point, I'm not even sure he was/is gay.
I also have no interest in talking to him ever again to find out.

Geez, Louise. I missed all this stuff. That's what I get for working two jobs. I only get to cruise and peruse, and then I miss all the fun -- or not.

I remember in the LIES my parents told me! thread when Saya said that her mom ruined The Lion King for her by explaining that Mufasa was only sleeping in an attempt to protect Saya from learning what death was about. So the movie ended up not making any sense!
Good times! LOL!

That was an awesome thread XD My dad was just as bad, once we watched a movie (I think it was The Mask?) And someone was lying on the ground bleeding and dying. Dad told me he spilled ketchup on himself and now he was really sad about it.
And yet I was allowed to watch movies like Alien and Robocop as a very young child, my parents made no sense.
