Wales. The spiders are all confused and think it's summer. There was a web from the side of the house to the garden shed, cute little brown and yellow one had caught a wasp its own size. A few hours later it had finished the whole thing.

I hate spiders even though I know they're good for the environment. That must have been one brave (and hungry) spider!

Should we pick up tomorrow where we left off? Just so you can get some sleep?

Yeah forums are always still there in the morning.
There used to be a crow who'd visit our garden, about the size of a small dog. He had a couple of friends with him at times, we used to live him bacon rinds and chunks of bread, he would terrorise the neighbour cats. Once he flew into my window while I was studying, a sure omen of something.
We have magpies now, which are cool but not as cool.

No no. I'm a long way from the action.
Gonna go sulk in the garden with the spiders and miss my crow.

I kindly ask you, JCC, please don't be an asshole. I really want to hear more of Ely's creature stories
So I'll just sit here happily drinking and patiently waiting. But I need to depart briefly to feed the cats, and also to feed and take the dog for his night time walk. I hope he doesn't shit. I really dislike picking up shit in the dark.

Once I was walking to the bus stop and I was wearing headphones. Suddenly, something smacked me hard on the back of my head, and I thought I heard laughing. I thought, "did someone throw a rock at me?!"
Turns out it was a fucking kamikaze crow. Fucker.

When I used to have very long hair, a bat almost got tangled up in it. There was a lot of flailing and cursing.
