yes it is magical bread that makes it to where you will never hunger again, and it can feed everyone but the darkness comprehended it not

You know what's so damned frustrating about faith such as this?
I'm not an unreasonable man. If there was some kind of empirical evidence to prove the likelihood of a god figure, I would presume it were true.
Frankly, if there actually was a person that empirically made a kind of food that met all nutritional value while being infinite without having to bring out of balance any consideration of energy distribution, then I'd be inclined to hold that person into some kind of high regard. I'd be inclined to believe.

This miracle bread is not being fed to the poor at all, and this means that Pothead just argued against the existance of his own god.

I just ate a bowl of coco puffs without milk. Tell me, why was there no milk. It's fucking easter, miracles are supposed to happen all lefty righty. WHY HAS YOUR GOD CURSED ME WITH NO MILK?! I awoke this morning expecting to find mini jesus in my fridge holding the most beautiful 1/2 gallon one could dream of. I even prayed for it. All there was, was this.
I think we both know what god really cares.

The last two pages would be moot if anyone read The Grand Inquisitor or anything by Karl Rahner.

Also, Pothead was born. That doesn't exactly scream "intelligent design" either.

A prof of mine made a really good point this semester. If the Bible is literal and evolution is a lie, shouldn't literalists also believe that the Earth is flat? Why does evolution get attacked so viciously but not the fact that the earth is round?

You are a fucking moron. Of course the Christians thought the Earth was flat.
Besides, both Catholicism and Protestantism are branches of Christianity, so your argument - rougly translated - is as follows:
"Only the Christians thought it was flat earlier, the Christians did not."

Not that I want to defend pothead or anything but it wasn't until quite recently, I believe it started some time in the 60's, where Christians began to identify as "Christians", before then they identified by their individual sect. A Baptist would view a Methodist as every bit as much of an "other" as a Jew or Atheist, and it makes sense for them to have done so since, as they have radically different religious dogma.

Sol: That is true I suppose. But both catholics and protestants claim to be Christians if I am not mistaken.
