Double date with one of Jake's classmates and his wife. I had met him before but they just got married last week and she just moved out here afterwards. We went out to dinner and ended up catching a late movie, it's nice to finally have another couple our age that doesn't have kids.

So last night I asked Versus was he would like to do while he's visiting, and he said he wanted to exercise with me.
Turns out my new apartment is close to a work out park! Its weird, its like a play ground for adults.

I'm going to spend the weekend with my girlfriend and her husband.. it's going to be the first time meeting her mother, which is rather anxiety inducing.. but on the whole I think that it will be a fabulous time.
Then, next weekend, the three of us are going to Sydney where my friend Fractal is going to re-cut my scarification and teach my girlfriend about needle play.
ALL OF THE SHARP THINGS!!

My day has been made because same sex MARRIAGE , not just civil partnerships, are about to become legal in the UK  the bill has been passed through parliament and is just waiting for royal ascent before it becomes law

Finding an original copy of Anna Thomas' "The Vegetarian Epicure" today. Granted it didn't surprise me much that I found it on the freebie rack at my church library, since most of us are vegetarians. (It did surprise me a little bit since it was considered the quintessential "required" hippie cookbook and the library ladies are sooo conservative; however, I am now happily reading, and raiding, it).
