Now, to get back on topic: I hate modern country music. I actually found a liking to old honky-tonk-esque country like Hank Sr, Willie Nelson, George Strait, etc. thanks to San Andreas' K Rose radio. However, this modern stuff is just un-fucking-bareable.

Hearing gangsta rap music is like having nails hammered into my skull. Not only does it sound horrible, but the lyrics are demeaning to women in every way possible.

Haha, give thanks to whatever you hold sacred that your country isn't in love with reggaeton.

As for rap, I really like Tech N9ne.

Reggaeton! God, no! In Bolivia there were reggaeton songs about food... '(Me Bate Como) Mayonesa,' 'Cerveza', and 'Chocolate'. I couldn't help but gag every time I heard them.

I love how the OP listed rap as a band.

True, but rock/death metal/metal CDs cost less there.

Mm, gonna have to lock in Black Eyed Peas and or its spin off Fergie. They make me want to rip my ears off and stomp on them every time I hear one of their songs.

Shitney spears must cease to exist immediately. Someone needs to remove her by extreme force.........I'll do it pass me my claymore....

I know she isn't a band but no one can deny that she has to go.

I have to agree with you here. What astounds me is that they are so incredibly popular. I understand that the population gets dumber year after year after year, but this shit has got to stop. Music has been on a downward spiral since the mid-90's.
And remember that rap group Bone, Thugz 'N' Harmony?
Listening to them all day long would be my personal version of hell.

I agree with every single one of those. I also must add....

The All American Rejects (they're rejects for a reason apparently)
KT Tunstall
John Mayer
Usher
The Pussycat Dolls
Simple Plan

Shakira was good before she started singing in English. John Meyer (Mayer?) is decent, but his songs all sound pretty much the same. Pretty, but the same.

I like some rap, anyway. Tech N9ne, for some strange reason, has pretty much taken over my school-- almost everyone, regardless of their musical preferences, loves his music-- including me. He's not signed to a major label (in fact, I believe that he runs his own label), but still manages to sell out huge shows.

Personally I like Guns N' Roses. Good Charlotte is okay...they dont bother me, but its not my taste. I do like Slipknot to some extent. ICP, Ugh, I despise that name. They suck, there crap. And rap, I despise rap too.
Thats basically my opinion.
