I got to see Jake for almost 8 hours!
Also the place we went for dinner comped his entree as a way of congratulating him on his graduation, which I thought was a rather nice gesture.
Oh and he looked adorable in his uniform, especially the dixie cup (which I know he hates but I don't care)

I finally found out what the thing is that's living in the firepit in the back yard. I saw it go in last night and thought, what on earth is that thing? It's too small to be a cat, but too large to be a rat. I thought at first it was a ground squirrel, since they are indigineous to this area, albeit very rare. Then I saw it this morning. It's a baby badger! It was sitting on the lawn eating goat heads, and believe me there are plenty of those on the lawn. (In fact, it can have all the goat heads it wants). That is until Animal Control gets here. I hated to call them, but now I know where Firecat went. That's why I was feeling really bummed this morning, because I hadn't seen her for awhile. Now I know why. The baby badger probably ran her off. Unfortunately, when it gets to be full grown it will probably kill her, because badgers get to be pretty good sized and they are very fierce little animals. Thus, Animal Control. I hated to call them because it's just sooo cute. But, badgers do bite and they do carry rabies, and I can't have it biting the grandkids. So now I'm bummed over the badger. I wish I could keep it, but I just can't. However, it did make my day to see it stuffing goat heads in its adorable little face.

Hard to pick a number one today but it's a draw between...
Ren educating me on electric cellos and talking to him on Skype and him figuring out that fruity on too much sleep and caffiene is just as nonsensical as fruity on too little sleep and caffiene.
Babybat sleeping over at the grandparents... I got 12hrs of sleep. the house could have imploded and I would have slept through it.
And full stops. Just love them............... ahh that's better............

I've lost another six pounds roughly. It's slow going but it's coming off, even though I wish I was losing it faster.

My ebay win of 6 old vintage fur stoles HAZ ARRIVED.
Foxy can go on the bed to keep Ralf the Racoondog company, his tail is all matted so I will try to srt that if I can...
One of the marten looks like a bloody Afghan hound due to the way the fucking pillock prepared the face during the taxidermy ( no joke )
The two smaller marten ( which were clearly once meant to be worn as a pair joined together ) will be sliced up and their body fur used on the bottom of my cloak. If they don't have enough to go round old Afghan Marten will have to step up and fill the gap.
In fact I might do that anyway and sew the bits in small sections, alternating them as Afghan has slightly longer fur, and it might look weird if just shove it on the end . I will keep all legs heads and tails. I never know when they might come in handy for some freakish bit of odd jewellery...
The last two small dark mink ( also once a joined pair ) are in AMAZING condition. Really soft and very well kept indeed. Not slicing these. I will simply keep them as they are.
GOOD TIMES.

Seeing Jeff Lewis again and getting my comics signed. Also got to see "Roll Bus Roll", "Back When I Was 4" and "Artland" live, which are three of my favourites.

My girlfriend's dad passed away and his wife has to sell our property, meaning we will most likely have to move. BUUUUT one of the younger couples that lives in a house on the property said they want to buy it, and that they would never raise the rent and we could live there as long as we want.
One good thing to come out of all of this. Yeehaw.

My new place is A-MAZING. I feel like a proper grown-up.
Also, having a birthday party Saturday night, that will doubtless leave said new place looking like every other student-y hovel I've ever inhabited. BUT it will involve approx. 90% of the people I love, including the ones I don't get to see enough of... totally worth it

I got a Voller corset for less than 20£ at my local second hand store. I checked the Voller site, and this model cost 125£ originally. This thing is the most professional and well made corset I've ever seen, and it fits like it was made for me. Totally made my day.
