I decided to follow my MP on Twitter, and now she's following me!
I was going to have a Dance Magic Dance tweet but now I feel self conscious.

Solumina, I am so sorry to hear you have to deal with that. I sometimes wonder what the world would be like if guys had to endure all the hormonal changes that women have to go through.
Saya, what's an MP?

Member of Parliament. She's a nice lady who actually shows up at community events, she was there at the breakfast we had for International Day Against Homophobia and she was going to go to our G8 panel discussion but got called to Ottawa for something she had to vote on. So I tend to bump into her and I'm afraid on of these days she'll recognize me as the retard who tweets about cupcakes and cats.

Hehehe Saya you're adorable
Ben it really isn't too bad. The cramps and mood swings are easy enough to keep at a very manageable level and those usually only last for about 48 hours, at least for me, and I'm pretty sure these things won't hurt so much if I had a bra they fit in, it is just really hard to find a 30 G for under $40 (and I'd want at least 2) and I hate spending money on something that will be useless most of the time.

Have you looked on Figleaves? I just checked, and they have a decent selection in your size and price range.

Yeah that is actually where I got the one I'm wearing right now, I love them, money has just been a bit tight lately since I'm saving to fix the AC in my car and that will be at least $500, I just can't continue to commute in this heat, it just isn't healthy.

The AC cord on my laptop developed a short in it. The battery ran dead while I was online last night, and even though I've set it up where the cord is stable and now charging the battery and powering the laptop, it won't see the wireless adaptor or the external hard drive.
So I walked away from it before I got really frustrated. And I'm doing my business online on the old backup PC that I built in 2000/2001. It's set up on a desk in my bedroom and while it's serviceable, it's not really ideal or comfortable. I'm not spending a lot of time here doing things like watching videos because it's not practical.
So if you see me posting less for a bit, that's why.
And I'm dreading the fact that a replacement AC adapter that should only cost $10 to $20 is probably going to set me back something like $50.
Son of a bitch, this shit pisses me off!

When I say: I really like you [name]
And then [name] says: I really like you, too, K.
IT DOESN'T FUCKING MEAN YOU'RE A SPIFFY PERSON AND I LIKE BEING YOUR FRIEND.
IT MEANS I HAVE MORE-THAN-PLATONIC FEELINGS FOR YOU, AND IF YOU SAY "ME TOO".....
Fuck men, fuck relationships, fuck everything to hell.
Oh, and my mother and I got in another fucking fight today.
It's been a lovely week.

You should've made it more clear than you did, just saying 'like' is pretty ambiguous.

Yeah, Korinna, most guys don't do subtle.
And I know it might seem to you that you couldn't have been clearer (without seeming like you were needy or begging or something), but a lot of guys are gonna think you just really like hanging out with them as buds when you say that.
Unless a guy was already trying to figure out how to jump your bones. Then he'd be all over that!
I know, it makes no sense.

Seeing as how we spent the entire night before this conversation cuddling.. I'd have thought it was pretty damn obvious what I meant.
I mean, really.. it's not like people go around saying "hello, person I've known for four years, I like you" with the implied meaning being 'only as a friend, you're totally spiffy, even though we spent all last night cuddled up together and holding hands'
I am so done with liking people as more than friends, falling for people, relationships, hell.. social interaction in general. Being a shut-in is sounding totally awesome at the moment. My cats will keep me company. >_>
