One kid asked my why I'm a satanist. Truthfully, I answered, "I'm not. I'm an atheist." and, *sigh* of course, he answered with a "No, you're a satanist.. Like Maralyn Manson."
Which is a stupid reply on multiple levels. I think I know my own beleifs, thank you very much. Second, you would be thinking of Anti-Christianity. Also, Maralyn Manson (does anyone know his original name?) despite claiming to be the antichrist in concert, he is Christian, and will admit it if asked.

Though he IS a Church of Satan reverend. LaVey himself made him a reverend. I actually enjoy Marilyn Manson, and I would like to be like him, but I don't consider myself a mansonite.
I've seen mansonites, and I'm too smart to be one. Sure, they may know all the lyrics to his songs, but do they even know he has published two autobiographies and is indeed a very good writer?

there's an ass in my politics class who always asks me if i'm going to cast a spell on him, or if i only think about death and hell, or if 'goth' is a demeaning term'. he's lucky to be alive actually, i'm not a violent person by nature but he does really test my patience.

This guy asked me why all my school stuff is goth. Fair enough I have my rusty old Ruby Gloom pencil case & my Zippy one ( I gave him tattoos & piercings, he was one snazzy pencil case). But my bag is as far away from goth as possible. It's a yellow tartan one my sister lended to me when my Nightmare Before Christmas one broke. Also I get asked alot if I'm a lesbian. All I can really reply to that is "Can you really judge somone's sexuality on the way they dress?"
