Meh, lolz... just a little poke at censorship in SM. In one of the dubbed episodes, the sailor scouts are arguing about who should play snow white in a school play, and Jupiter points at her breasts, and says she is the most talented. In the subs, she says she should play Snow White because she has the biggest boobs. Man, I sound like an Ani-nerd...

I like that song...*Hears the roar of mega-emo, Duane runs into a phone booth, and exits as Super-Goth. He flies off to face evil, as a gothic rock version of the superman theme begins to play.*

I'm all with the X-Men(Minus Cyclops, the self-righteous muthafucker), Gambit and Rogue especially.
Most of my favorite heroes are morally grey, do they count? X-23, Scarlet Witch, Elektra and Black Cat.

Don't talk shit about Cyclops.
Cyclops is the fucking man.
Not only can he shoot epic punch beams out of his eyes, but he is invariably the most effective leader of the world's most dysfunctional superhero team (excepting possibly the Thunderbolts) and he's tapped the MUs hottest bitties- Jean Grey, Goblin Queen (Jean Clone), AND Emma Frost.
Anyway, this thread is now about Deadpool.

Have fun with it!
My favorite would have to be Captain Planet.
Anyone remember him?

I remember him, lol.
My favorite Western hero is Spider Man.
He's Awesome. End all - be all.

I liked Mina Harker from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
(And yes I mean the comic; the movie version was cool, too).
But, for more mainstream superheros I tend to gravitate toward Batman. However, I'm more of a villain person and have a thing for Harley Quinn, even if she's fairly new, Poison Ivy and Catwoman. Gosh, I love Catwoman with a passion.

I like Nightcrawler. I'm seriously jealous of his prehensile tail.

He blows things up, wears a trench coat, and has awesomely colored eyes. What's not to love? And the fact that his other "superpower"/talent is getting women to sleep with him is pretty cool too.
But his character has always been so terribly written, we can only ask what the writers were thinking.

I used to love the Power Rangers. I also used to have crushes on the leaders of the different groups.

UO, I'm definitely a fan of Uranus as well.
Damn my immaturity.
Batman is the only superhero with any kind of mythos that I really enjoy, firstly because it's possible--he really has no powers, just gadgets, a fancy car, and insomnia--and secondly because he takes his ultimate fear and embraces it, making him the greatest badass ever. Plus, the reflections it provides on justice, authority, politics, etc. are all transcendent of what one expects of a hero.
I used to like Spiderman, before I realized he was a pussy bitch, who would still be getting pushed into lockers and masturbating about Mary Jane if it weren't for a freak spider bite.
Since I watched the made for TV movie about 100 times, I would have to put Bilbo from the Hobbit up there as a hero, if he counts. He's just some guy who has it all--peace, quiet, and all the pleasures of the good life--and he leaves it all behind for a chance at adventure, for a chance to discover who he is and what he is made of, to find meaning outside the norm...okay, perhaps I'm reading a bit too much into it, but that animated show had a big impact on me when I was younger.

Of course!
He's one of the few things from my childhood that made sense.
Has anyone said Mighty Mouse yet?

It has to be the Maxx. Well written, odd story line, fantastic artwork and the best superhero ever... aside from Aria.

Gonna miss the Duckman, too. I know he could be kind of gross sometimes, but when you would 'pit' him against TickingStitch, you got a dialogue that was invariably hilarious.
Sorry. At work. On break. Got to run.
