It is a good basic history but there is a lot that was left out, then again it is kind of hard to say what exactly happened as many of the posts have been edited/deleted (mainly to protect the posters during the whole purge thingy so that they wouldn't get banned with the mods they were sticking up for) not to mention all of the bitch fights that happened right before "the purge" (Al and Stern anyone? Actually it was kind of like everyone against Stern, I still don't know why). I would give you my (somewhat) unbiased view of what happened but most of it occurred when I was a bit withdrawn after my father died so I was in a bit of a fog and can't recall much

Oh and I don't think you have the right reason why Xng was banned cuz that whole harassment thing happened months before she was banned (if I remember correctly it had nothing to do with anyone who was underage it had something to do with DCreep harassing/stalking Teapot to the point where he was banned and I believe she got a restraining order but the admins wouldn't ban his ip address so he just kept coming back with different screennames).

Also I didn't remember anyone having a problem with e_e, I think you were thinking of Al (he went way overboard and started abusing his powers when he was made into a mod by targeting anyone who didn't have the same (ultra)conservative views that he did)

There was someone who claimed falsely to have been ***** (sexually accosted in the worst way-- I won't try to slip the word through the censor), yes. She made a few posts along the lines of "It happened yet again." I can't remember her name.

While we're on the topic, are the admins getting more permissive or just less vigilant? The last Act of Admin I noticed was Spright's banning and the removal of his posts, and I wasn't even around when that happened.

I really don't think they look at the boards unless they get a lot of complaints about a particular topic...and even then they rarely take a look unless it is something that could financially hurt them
