Where would these g-string lines be? I haven't ever seen them and they can't be on your ass cheeks like regular pantie lines so I'm a bit confused

They run along the top of the skirt and slope down the crack. It's worse with thongs because there's this full on V shape headed down there.

I quite like my pinstripe bra/ pinstripe thong combo, actually. Quite comfortable, and a nice set of black undies with just a little bit of lace trim is an aesthetically pleasing presentation.
I have a few black thongs, though no g-strings. I find that, due to the way they don't leave me with a knicker line across my bum (and I don't seem to get trouble from the line across the hip), they go very well with my tight jeans or even with a long skirt under a corset.
I'm rather fond of boyshort/ French knickers style undies as well, though- comfy and practical and very flattering to the bum!
