I have tried that before. Unfortunately, some of them take it as encouragement, or as some kind of challenge.

I just try to avoid all contact with them, verbal or otherwise...and make sure I have some kind of device I can use as a weapon. >_<

There's a difference between the way a man looks at a woman when he is appreciating her beauty, and a man staring at my boobs while he's talking to me.

I haven't been rejected in a while. However, it just seems whenever I have an interest in someone something inevitably happens which screws the whole thing up, making the other person think I'm not interested or just planning on being friends.

Also, I seem to have a problem expressing my feelings to the opposite sex. I'm just too darn worried I'd scare them away or come across as a bit too overbearing.
