But to answer your question I carry the 638-3 as a B.U.G. in case my main weapon is taken out of service,or runs dry.
The knife is a last ditch to cut my way out of a bad situation.

The thing you seem to have trouble wrapping your mind around is the fact that not only would there be cash but also my ID which has my address printed on it.
The person would have my info,pictures of my family,and the cash to boot.
So I figure if I stop the bastard right there and right then,I won't have to worry about stopping the bastard at my front door or in my hallway (and that is if I'm lucky enough to get out alive).
