Your family stays to rebuild but Ana blames you for the fire and moves out of the country, refusing to speak to you ever again.

Granted. Not only are you 14 pounds lighter, you are 41 pounds lighter because the wish granters are dyslexic. You also are fluent in all three languages, but due to some "crossed wires" in that pretty little head of yours, every time you go to use any of them, you always use the wrong one. You end up speaking fluent italian to Spanish speaking people, French to Spanish, etc.

Granted, but in the prossess of attempting to find a cure by mincing up monkey kidneys you create an even deadlier disease, which you do not die of but live until you are 103, by which time you are totally insane with guilt as you have watched millions of your fellow human beings wiped out by your creation.

I wish I had the concentration and drive to just sit the hell down and write a great novel or 12.

Granted, you sit to write and can't stop... you won't leave your desk taking both meals and naps in that very seat. You grow old and develop arthritis in both wrists.. both legs have atrophied and your no longer lucid.. as you print the last page of your 40th book you realize not only have you never sold one, but books are now read online to save paper. You die from shock and embarassment in your seat and aren't found for 6 months... they burn your house including all your books and belongings to get rid of the stench of death.

I wish I had one more dollar.

Granted. The world becomes a little nicer to you everyday until you are eventually made queen of the world and become a spoilt, shallow bitch whom everyone secretly hates. Several of your closest "friends" start plotting your demise and succeed by poisoning you, tying you up and throwing you in a lake with concrete shoes, then emptying a deagle into your back.

I wish I could stop worrying about the future and the past, and just live for the moment.
