Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

The upper arm probably would be, not sure about the fingers. They're protected here far enough that even disturbing a nesting site is illegal, if you live near a river I'd say have a look around there for dead bats as that's where a lot of them tend to hunt for insects. I've only ever seen living ones though, so good luck...
Might be easier to just see if you can buy them somewhere to be honest.

Thanks!
I'm absolutely tickled with the shirt. I think I'll go over the "dotty" bits again, because I can tell where I pressed the q-tip down. I might also dye the parts behind his hair purple..
The Bowie badge came from this AWESOME record store in Kentucky.. I could have spent sooooo much money there.

I have a question about fabric. I want to make a sew-on patch that has two colors, a foreground and a background color. I was thinking of cutting out a solid fabric background, and then spray painting on the foreground color. What fabric would be good for this? Can spray painted patches be ironed to have a crease through them?

Why would you want a crease in your fabric?

The patch is going on the arm of a button down shirt and the arms on the shirt are creased, so I'd like to crease the patch with the arm.

If you iron over spray paint, I'd HIGHLY recommend putting a rag in between the patch and the iron.

I think you could iron it, but it'd be the stiffest crease EVAR.

Made a purse. Didn't iron the straps yet though. They're not meant to be poofy.

I really like the fabric.
Does it by any chance glow in the dark?

I was going to post pics of my vest, but my friend's computer crashed, so I'll get them up later this month.

No, sofar as I know it doesn't glow. Considering the amount of money I paid for it, however, it should. It should also make me breakfast and wash my car.

I posted this at the thread about nothing. Today I start making the outline for the fabric on nylon sheets and tomorrow is shopping day for fabric! Yuppy!
doing it black or a dark earth tone.. I`m not really sure.

Nice Jack!!!!!
I'm working on a shirt that will be like my avatar, and on the bag I'm going to make a tribute to Stig as well.
RIP Stig

That TSOL shirt fucking rules.
I wanted to use that stencil, but it's so fucking complicated, and I'm so fucking lazy.

I had to do it in 3 posts because the Admin has it limited to 4 pics per post, and I don't like posting links.
