Thai sounds so cool! My is semi fluent in Thai but I can only count to 999 in Thai. Useful for bartering. If only the Baht had lower numbers, then it'd be even more useful (1000 Baht is around 50 Australian dollars i think)
Monkeys are also quite cute. I saw a few at Rallay beach south of Srrat Thani, but all they wanted was the cashews that I was eating  I didn't want to give them up!

Yeah, and it didn't help that my father was driving away laughing his head off while I tried to hop back into the car. The baboons were a good distance away ,but they didn't like the look of me and were running directly for me.

Definately. My dad has an aquired sense of humour, but he got the last few hairs on his head removed for that stunt, even though he drove ten feet away, but it was a great fright just to hear the car move away.
