That was at Number's, my favorite place to dance with gay thirty year old men.

I originally joined this site to find places to shop down there. What stores would you have recommended? I was looking for New Rocks.

I think Houston would be the last place you would want to look for goth/alternative fashions. But we do have some places.
Liquid
Erotic Cabaret
High Times
Bizarre Bazaar
I have never seen New Rocks in the US. I'm pretty sure those are only sold in the UK but they might have them at a big stupid mall we call the Galleria in downtown Houston.

There's also a load of thrift stores in the Westheimer/Montrose area: Leopard Lounge, Buffalo Exchange, and Taxi Taxi. They're actually the type of snobby places where you pay twenty dollars for a hideous blouse that isn't even in good condition. But they tend to have a lot of decent findings like gently used platform boots and Doc Martens.
I personally hate those places even if I still do shop there occasionally.

Yea I went to those places and they all pretty much sucked. I was really hoping for more, but oh well. I did go to the Galleria, but all they have is a hot topic and MAC store. I chose the MAC store.
Vegas would be the place to go for the best selection of New Rocks. You can find them here and there (ie random show stores in LA), but if you go to newrockstore.com, they import from Spain, but ship from Las Vegas. There are a couple shops here that seel the odd pair of New Rocks, but for rediculous prices.

So. I just spent the past hour or so getting gussied up in my ball gown and taking pictures.
And then I try to upload them, only to find out that my USB cable is broken.
>_<
