I was born in Utah, and here I still am. I currently live in Ogden. Its a place about a half hours drive from Salt Lake...
We call it the arm pit of Utah. It's Utah. No good beer and nothing is open after 10pm except Walmart and Taco Bell.

I'm from Sydney, Australia... which is something that I seem to mention in every second post, alternating it with mentions that I'm a lesbian. Now that I've mentioned both in the same post I have lost track which one I was up to using next.
The part of Sydney I live in is called The Sutherland Shire, and is referred to as The Shire by people who don't live here and as 'God's Own Country' by those who do live here. It is like living in 1950's middle America, and I keep waiting to run into Wally and the Beaver.
You can actually Wiki 'The Sutherland Shire' and it will mention our predominately white, predominately religious and predominately racist area.
The apartment that I live in is about 5 minutes away from the scene of the 2005 Cronulla, Sydney Race Riots and we had windows smashed and cars vandalised during the whole thing.
I don't like the particular area of Sydney that I live in because people like that live here, but it is near the beach, it is quiet, it is 5 minutes from my work... and it is in Sydney.
Sydney is absolutely one of the world's best cities to live in.

I live smack dab in the middle of Alabama. What a perfect place for an agnostic, bisexual, liberal, androgynous, philosophical, goth furry! Talk about being late in Darwin's evolutionary line... sheesh!

I am originally from Chicago, Illinois. I lived there for close to 29 years.
After that, I relocated to Atlanta, Georgia.
After that, I relocated to Lynn, Massachusetts.
After that, BACK to Atlanta, Georgia.
After that, and at present I reside in Tampa, Florida.
(my husband was in sales but he got promoted to VP and the company moved to Tampa.)
I don't like snow but I do not like being a bored housewife either.
Go figure.
I am currently seeking full time employment to have extra money coming in and of course, health care costs for a woman my age are through the roof. Yes, I create and sell beaded gemstone and glass jewelry but that is a little home based biz that my husband and I have and no, it unfortunately does not pay for the stupid medical costs.
Such is life.
Thanks for reading this and have a great week.
I apologize if I double-posted. I thought I may have posted in this thread prior to this but it looks like I have not.
If I have, sorry about that. I am senile!

Born in San Jose, California
-yes, I surf
-no, I'm not blond
Loved it and still go back about once a month.
Currently live in Marin, north of SF.
I hate it. Prep-land. Stepford. Bunch of petite, blondie, preppy, trophy wives in training and stoner-jocks. Good punk scene though

I've lived in Melbourne for 2 weeks now, and at this moment as I'm watching the sun set over the city, as the fruit bats make their nightly journey over my house, I can easily say I fucking love it here.

I live in a city a bit west of Milwaukee,Wisconsin. It is going below 20 this weekend. Worst of all is the scene here is dead, completely and utterly dead, the dead horse has been kicked, it has been beaten into a bloody pulp, and it's bones are being used in the farm fields, it is DEAD. It was completely wiped out in the 90s. Though I wonder who has been maintaining the goth council website. You would think it would at least be slightly alive. My mother had more goth friends back when the whole subculture started than I've ever seen around here. heck we have a witch camp to the north west, Whitewater is a former satanist town with it's geography containing satanist landmarks. the waukesha county fair was home to a satanist gathering in the 70s, we've got a haunted K-mart, a bleeding gravestone, and a mythical midget town, a spring to the north that at for half the year anything can float on it then for the other half the spring works in reverse killing anything inside the spring. You would at least expect more satanists here. For more info read weird wisconsin.

I was originaly born over in Tacoma, I loved it there. Unfortunatly for me I was and still am the only member of my entire family born on the west coast. So my parents moved back here to the midwest. When I get out on my own I plan on moving back out to Tacoma. I always loved living in the shadow of a mountain, whereas here if you get on the highest hill you can see for miles if there isn't much smog.

HEY!!! I'm also from Lima!!!! One time a friend of mine came to Peru from Japan. When he arrived he wasn't expecting to see cars in Peru (never mind Toyotas), he thought people rode Llamas in our country.
Hahaha... I don't live in Peru right now though. I miss it a lot, but I do recognise the Goth scene is not really big there.

eeerrrrr.... no.... There are no llamas in Lima (at least not natively). Llamas are animals from the Andes, Lima is right next to the sea. We have got lots of dogs though
