I love ebay
I keep seeing gorgeous boots on there, but I'm trying to restrain my bidding finger at the moment (too many household bills... bleurgh!)

I confess I was very tempted by a pair of knee-high DMs that were going for less than a pound the other day, but I didn't remember to bid in time! *sobs* They went for 55p in the end! 0.O

knee high docs are great, i wear them for college. i realised the other day that i'm gonna have to start getting some summer shoes. i only have two pairs of shoes that aren't boots (and ones £75 sandals that i'm too scared to wear) so i'm going to get lots of cute little pumps and customise.

I really like these boots, but I would probably break my ankle in such a skinny heel:

Justme, those boots rock! I have been looking for some high heel, lace up black boots. I just bought a pair of brown suede platform wedges from zappos.com. I don't know why I got brown, but I guess everything else I own is black, so now I have a brown pair of boots that I can wear with a green skirt or something extremely non-goth.

Yep... *Scowls*

I love ebay to bits, but it can be sooo frustrating when you don't win something you've fallen in love with. A friend of mine was bidding on some funky boots recently, whe was about to win them when someone made one of tose last-second bids and stole them from under her nose! Grrr...

On a different note - eww! Those hot topic ugg-type things are foul. *Throws up on boots*

Your boots are hot, Xng. I agree about the Uggs. Ugg-lee! "Man made faux fur olive color" Blech! I might try Zappos.com; they usually have good stuff. I just don't like to buy shoes without trying them on first. I have really small feet and skinny legs so boots are often too big on me. That's why I can find vintage shoes like my 60's boots. Nobody else can fit in them. I have a great pair of 40's suede wedge heels that I will post a picture of when I get time.

Apologies for my typos yesterday! *glares at offending fingers*

The sexy New Rocks I saw on ebay two days ago have already tripled in price. Damn other people bidding!

I like all kinds of platform boots(as for the original subject)

New Rocks are fine, but expensive. I've got one pair. But since when have New Rocks been "gothic" boots?

There's no such thing as "gothic boots", no matter what certain advertisers try to tell us. There are merely boots which a gothic person might wear. I know gothy people who wear New Rocks, and gothy people who detest them. I also know non-gothy people who wear New Rocks. Meh... whatever.

I agree that they're expensive though.

I was looking at some shellys on ebay with a silver coffin heel *drools* they started on £5 and had no bids (so i was watching like a hawk) within the last 10 minutes they went up to £56. I was gutted, really thought i was gonna get a bargain! hehe

They sold for almost £40. When I first saw them they were only £4.99, so I was hoping that they'd stay low and I might be able to afford them. I can't believe they shot up in price so fast!!

I didn't buy them *muffled sob* they were just some cool boots I spotted on ebay. You could always try logging on to ebay.com or ebay.co.uk and search for New Rocks - lots of sellers will post abroad. It could be a bit expensive though, considering how much New Rocks weigh...
I'm sure there are places online you could buy a pair, as long as you've got a bit of money saved!

It's frustrating, isn't it? Sometimes though, you really can get a bargain on ebay - you've just got to keep your eyes peeled! O_0

Those boots were for 4 dollars! WTF. It's too bad they bid on them.

I bet the shipping to Lebanon would cost a fortune.

Underground makes that style shoe, but their's is MUCH better quality, real leather, etc. (they are shown near the bottom of the page):

If you happen to be a size 7, Vixens and Angels has them on sale:

Hmm, probably. If you found some at a discount on ebay it might still end up being a bargain though! For instance, the boots that sold for nearly £40 would have been over £100 new. It just wasn't enough of a bargain for me, tightwad that I am!
