I thought that was a little too analogous to be a simile, but I'm no literature major.

I think that should be the new slogan for Mississippi: "Books are for fags!"

I do not understand why my coworker has a job. He spends six hours of his day on blogs. In a single day he spends more time online, at work, than I do in an entire month.

I really, really wish this was exaggeration. It's especially frustrating when I get lectured about, "Older folk having a better work ethic than you kids now days", by my boss.

And the slogan for Arkansas? "Reading Is Fundamentally Boring!"

Hey, hey now! Be fair.

A vaccuum sucks because it is empty. America is hardly empty.

It's full of shit, which is why it blows!

Your boss is an idiot, and you should tell him this to his face.

Oh trust me, I want too. If I wasn't just out of high school, and if the local economy was better, I probably would call him an asshat. However, I am, and it isn't, so I don't.

C'mon give it a try, he might have an epiphany and realize his folly and promote you for bestowing him with such insight.

No no.

You mistake my boss for being intelligent.

It also doesn't help that the lazy employee is the brother of my boss.

Yes I agree, I was in kind of the same predicament at my current job, except it was over the fact that a girl in a higher field then I was using me as her slave, and thought that I wouldn't tell about the fact that she was watching television online while I was doing all her work. I went to my boss, spoke to her in a mature manner, and guess what...that bitch got fired. I think honesty is always better then holding things back and being miserable. And as long as you do it for the right reasons then you have nothing to fear about getting fired. ^_^ good luck.

Sometimes I really wish that I was single, so that I wouldn't have to put up with this emotionally wrecking garbage. T_T I hate fights, I hate crying, and I hate feeling like shit all the fucking time.

My laptop is fried, and i can't afford a new one right now so you won't be seeing much of me until after Christmas (I'm asking all my relatives for money this year so I can get a new decent computer).

And for a real whine, I found out today a friend's dad died. My friend moved away a year ago, we were really close at one point but I'm bad for not keeping in touch when people move away. He has a lot of trouble dealing with things so I'm pretty worried with how he's going to deal with this. And I have no idea what to say to him.

I bought my laptop from Amazon after shopping at tigerdirect.com, but I was looking for a certain set of features at a good price and not necessarily looking for the cheapest PC I could find. Those are two good places to look but since I bought it I signed up for CNET's Cheapskate Deals notifications, and I have been getting amazing deals in my email inbox on a nearly daily basis ...

including some outstanding deals on laptops and netbooks.

You might sign up now so you get some ideas before you get the money together. Although I'm not sure if all the deals will be available where you are.

Good luck with everything.

Well, Cheapskate deals has mentioned Newegg from time to time and their everyday prices can be pretty good. But Cheapskate absolutely has had some stunning prices that routinely beat by a significant amount the prices you normally see on any of those other sites ... hundreds of dollars lower in some cases.

No, it's because no one knows dick and no one cares about knowing dick.

Yeah, I got the point. I was attempting sarcasm. I guess being wrong once makes up for all those other times i was right though.
