I'm not quite sure where this music actually came from, but it's been popular in Europe for a good 3 or so years now. Santogold and Diplo are other artists similar to her. The only way I can describe it is a heavily danceable and rhythmic fusion of hip hop, world music, electronica fuelled with strongly political lyrics.

I find it amazing, and so unique. Anyone else here like this stuff?
