Dude, I need new boots.

I'd love ones that don't fall apart after a year, too.
They need to be cheap! ><
We don't exactly have the cash for your $210 ultraboots in my family. @_@

I'm looking for something knee-height, and maybe if I'm lucky, zippers?

Any site or brand recommendations?
I have wide feet, just for the record. ><

20 eye Doc Martens perhaps? Or are those still too expensive?

From what I had seen, they were too expensive, but I'm looking around now, and I'm seeing ones for around 100 bucks, which is in my range.

Internet sucks for clothes, though. You can't try them on. >>

Good luck finding boots that are cheap and made to last. At least I have never saw a pair with both of those requires. Anyway, I'm going to recommend you visiting vegetarian-shoes.co.uk. Those steel toe boots are comfortable for wide feet (yes, I have wide feet also) and I've found that they last and last. So maybe if you save some money and buy good boots for once, so you don't have to buy them all the time. I'll bet it's cheaper in a long run.

I wonder if there's a reason they're all on UBERSALE?

How do the steel toes help? Do they give more toe-room?

Amazon has worked many a Deal with many companies, I have a pair from here for 100 bucks and I swear by them. Steel toes do give you a bit of toe room yeah, but most importantly it keeps the front shape, so if someone stops on your toes or if your boots just end up in a weird angle for a while, you won't have the toes all messed up like you would otherwise.

Everyone's always like HAY LOL ARE THOSE STEEL TOES? *stomp*

Before I can even say no. Jerks.

And thus, my reinforced leather toes no longer have any form. ><

Warning! Don't buy Demonia shoes, they will most likely fall apart _very_ soon. Steelcaps on boots are the best. As Wormboy said they will protect your toes but also I personally think boots with them look better and more strict (did I pick the right word...?).

I'm a boots nerd. I'm not allowed to buy Demonia or Pleaser no matter how nice they look. :P

Good. Check out Pennangalan.co.uk. Great quality boots, but expensive :/.

They use cheap parts and labor. >>

They look real nice, but I wouldn't pay over 50 bucks for them.

Well I've had good experience with them personally, but yeah it's cool, I'll keep an eye out for any good deals

Yeah, I've heard heavily mixed reviews.

I don't wanna take the 50% chance that I'll get a pair that falls apart in a matter of months. >>

TUK makes some pretty nice looking boots that are leather. For boots that last, I would definitely recommend genuine leather.
https://www.tukshoes.com/store/index...cPath=73_66_22

I've never bought any of their boots, but their creepers are really good quality. I still have one pair of their creepers that I bought in high school like 14 years ago. They're still in great condition.

I would NEVER, EVER buy Demonia/Pleasers. For one, they rip off everyone elses designs. Also, they use crappy products and shoddy manufacturing. Their shiney vinyl is so soft, you can tear it with a fingernail. They suck.

I, er, swear by Swear boots; they last like no other boots I've owned apart possibly from Para boots and the big chunky platforms keep your feet really cosy in winter cos they so far off the freezy floor :-D

Chelseagirl, I have to disagree with you on that genuine leather issue. There are many very good materials that last as long as leather.
And about TUK, they seem to be quite good, I have three pairs of TUK sneakers and at least they are fine.

I have a pair of demonias I wear most every day and I've had them over a year and never had a problem. They dont have a zipper, could that be whats wrong? I have had bad experiances buying their mary janes, but the boots are amazing.

I also have a pair of Demonias, and my only complaint is that one boot kills my achilles heel so I have to wear bandaids on that spot when I wear them. Otherwise they're as good as new.

BUT, I've successfully saved up for a pair of New Rock Destroyers. Can't wait till I place an order for them.

Try checking out www.vixensandangels.com, they have a section there with some affordable boots you may like.
