These are quite similar to my boots, the only difference is that my boots have one leather strap insead of laces, no skull on the front, and a little bit of an arch. Same platform size though, wait, nevermind, my boots platforms are 5 inches.

I just wear a pair of 12 pound a shoe, GBX Elites. They work for me and i like them just fine.
@darkness-creepshow: I agree Hottopic does have horrible quality stuff.

I shop at hot topic, *ducks as rocks are thrown at her head* but i have no toher place to go, really, lol. I mean, I live 60 miles from no where and my mom is thw only one that can drive, so yeah, Hot topic it is, I agree though, The stuff there isnt all that great.
anyway, shoes:
I am currently wearing my chuck taylors, lol., They are comfy and were cheap (only like 25.00). I also have a pair of NaNa boots from HotTopic, 1) cause they were only 35.00 2) cause they are basic, buckley, tall gth boots. I added Pyramid studs to the buckles, so they are unique now, lol. '
I love the look of creepers.

I looked at that Hot Topic link & the rest of the site. Some of the brands in there are sold in 'goth shops' throughout the uk.
If it was over here in England I'd certainly have a peep in there (not sure about parting with cash though).
I did see some nice shoes on that site too

Here's my favorite boot site. That's the New Rock section. New Rocks are commonly accepted as fairly gothy shoes, and as far as I can tell they're pretty good quality, too.

Most New Rocks are too "busy" for me. There's about 3 or 4 styles that I like, but most just have too many buckles and too much going on for me. The Fantasy boots that Pennangalan sells, however, are awesome.

I tend to favor less busy designs, i like the New Rocks but they just never grabbed me.
Current Boots:
Jump Boots as you can NEVER go wrong with a pair of solid jump boots. Any army navy surplus store, usually under $100 used or about $100 new. Worth the cash as these just do not die no matter what you do to them. Only things I've had to do with mine are replace the inside padding every other year or so as i tend to wear them out a bit dancing/doing outdoorsey things. http://www.nexternal.com/armynavy/images/XC1585.gif
Demonia Gravel 20's, as i just really like the higher cut boots and these are pretty

I personally wear for sneakers black Vans. Yes I know skater shoes, but they are comfortable and lasted a while. I have two sets of boots one is just a normal dress pair I guess you could say that I got from my step mother a while ago. The other pair are some really kick ass shoes. They're platform and go up a little past mid shin. They're wicked shiny and pretty. The brand for the boots is Torrid. They're not on the site though. I got them from a thrift store for about $3. Lucky me.

I got my big stompy boots from the Goodwill, too! They were $7. I saw them 3 years previously at Haute Topic for $50.

i hate platform boots, i just wear my converses or my vans, you can make them look goth if you wear them with the right things, and who cares if your strange enough most people dont pay much attention to the feet....

I don't think anyone was specifically worried about looking "strange enough". I just like pretty spooky boots. Doesn't have anything to do with whether people look at my feet or not.

I received an observatory comment from an 80+ year old lady in the bus the other day when she noticed my New Rocks. Looking a little strange is awsome.

Thanks to Cicero coming to visit in Melbourne we went on a 'little' shopping expedition. Along with the purchases is 100% pure awesomeness in the form of pointy, bat buckle boots.
Have to post a picture on Picture Post sometime...

I have
1 pair Rockwood Steel toecapped commando soled work boots.
1 Pair suede slipons but with sports shoe soul
1 Pair of short black plain pointy cowboy boots
1 pair black Chucks
I like some of the New Rock Styles but I don't need the height even though the cowboy boots have the 2" cuban heel. Just remembered need to get the sole repaired. It split from one side to the other.
I miss proper goth pointy toed, low heeled boots with zips up the middle and straps with buckles (skulls or bats sometimes) in plain black leather or suede not mixed. No fancy moulding. No big steel spikes or chains.
Just plain pointy boots.

I have a pair of dress shows and short combat boots, both black. Though, what I WANT is:
-1 pair riding boots
-1 pair go go boots (knee high block heel)
Thanks for making me a crossdresser, Rozz!
