Everybody is right. The Internet is, and yet is not real life. We come here to connect with people, and we also come here for entertainment. No, the "Joined on" date is indicative of how long someone has been here, "post count" is indicative of post count. Just because someone has posted a fuckton, does not mean they have been here long.

As for the topic itself, I don't think the internet is much like real life. On the internet you're completely anonymous, unless you chose not to be by posting your personal information. Not to mention that on the internet, you can be a fat bald 40-year-old man one day and an anorexic 16-year-old girl the next.

Plus the internet has spellcheck.
