Draconysius,

I think the most accurate keyboards will be workstations such as the Roland G-70 will be close, because the samples are taken from the actual instruments (like many workstations these days), you can also get expansion cards for this model or any other keyboard with the Fantom engine, which will specialise in organ sounds etc ...

Click here for more info ...

Also ask Lethean, as he plays the organ and might be able to help you out !!!.

If you're strained for cash, for about 800 big ones guitar center sells a Yamaha electric keyboard, full 88 keys, and they're weighted to feel like a real piano. Might work if you're in a pinch.

As for me, I drum and play bass.

I play the violin, although I haven`t picked it up in a while.
Im thinking of taking it back up though.
I am also currently learning to play the piano, and hope to be learning guitar/bass soon.

I'm learning how to play violin, so I can play that sweet violin solo from D.I.T.W by Kansas.

Flute and acoustic guitar. Though I haven't played guitar in awhile because I had a very shady ex who sold my beautiful 12 string behind my back :*(

Still have the flute, at least.

I can play penny whistle and guitar, but kind of stopped playing both. I lost the penny whistle while moving house and I stopped playing guitar because I wasn't very good at it and lessons were incredibly expensive but I still have it lying around somewhere ( mirror black Epiphone SG ).

All the best players have been self taught and thats what made them unique and got people listening to, and inspired by them, why dont you get your self a guitar book and teach yourself in your own time, there are lots of good books out there and even computer software that will teach you the basics.

Go on what are you waiting for ...

Here is a good website for learning chords and scales when you need them !!!.

Guitar Techniques one of the best and most educational guitar magazines for players of all levels and styles !!!.

This book is the guitar players bible, and has everyhting from your first chords to how to maintain and look after your instrument !!!.

Happy playing, and have fun !!!.

A Gibson Les Paul `Black Beauty`, that is such a beautiful guitar, and I bet the sustain is phenomenal on it (Les Paul guitars are famous for their sustain) and must sound awesome (what pick ups do you have in it?). I would love to have a `Black Beauty` one day !!!.!!!.

I love Gibsons and own both a 67`re-issue Flying V (vintage white) and a `76 re-issue Explorer (Red) and they are both awesome sounding instruments !!!.

I play guitar, bass and keyboard/synths (absolutely LOVE the sound of oldschool synths - especially subtractive ones).

I love the sound of the flute, it has this wonderful old world feel to its sound and can be used to accompany most kinds of music (especially in the rock and metal world) !!!.

I just got a Squier P Bass, because I love simplistics. (and the P Bass sounds nice to my ears)
I'm going to get the Badass II bridge and some DR MM45 "Fat Beam" strings later :P.. Because even though the tone of the Fender Super 7250ML (45-100) strings sound nice, I doubt they can take a lot of slap xD

What paint do they use on the guitar?
I have a classic guitar with this awful shade of blue... I don't want to risk taking it to be done because they're not professional and they'll ruin it.

I'd advise you to seek professional help, although mainly what most companies use is gloss -of different sorts/variants- :S
