I got my new hire packet from Verizon.
Fed-Ex came. The guy knocked and left the envelope leaning against the door. In the time it took me to respond to the knock and walk quickly to the door, he was already in the parking lot climbing back into his vehicle!
Anyway, I'm working through the 30 page full-sized "code of business conduct" manual. I'm going to have to take a computer quiz on this Monday. I have forms to fill out. I have benefits pre-enrollment to complete online. I have an intellectual property agreement to understand and agree to. I have a post offer voluntary survey to complete.
It's good to be employed!

You're welcome. I think some of the hardest things in life for me to be patient with are when I have to hurry up and wait for other people to be instructed and digest something I have fully assimilated already.
I was not patient for most of my primary and secondary education. I wish I had developed more patience at that time, as I might have gone on to college then.

I like ramen ... but I'm picky. I get the Maruchan brand, in the creamy chicken flavor. If you drain most of the water off before mixing in the seasoning package, it makes a delicious creamy sauce.
EDIT: Actually, I'm eating carrots and pretzels and dreaming of ramen!
