Devilock with wavy hair

I am currently growing my bangs out for a devilock, but my hair is wavy and this one lock of hair kind of curls up a bit. I'm going for the kind that Jerry Only has.
Can someone halp me get past this snag?

How about hair straighteners? That'd give you a nice smooth devilock! (Depends how lazy you're feeling in the morning though *wink*)

I'm relustant to use hair straighteners because I've heard that they're terrible for your scalp and hair.

Whats a straigtening elixer? I'd be willing to try it out. I recently found out that a mix of water and gel, taken off and put back on a few times, with combing seems to work well enough for the time being, but once it gets to around my nose (it's at my brow now, when I straighten it, it's at eye level) I have the feeling it'll be trouble.

I'm using an old laptop from '95 right now, so the keyboard sucks..

Does Thermasilk make a hair straightener or just shampoo-type stuff? they have a bad site.

It's too bad I have no idea what Frizz-Ease is. = /

Buy a ceramic straightener. It will take you all of two minutes to straighten that small lock of hair.

Heat can damage your hair, but using conditioner will combat the damage.

Frizz Ease is sold at drugstores. It's a whole line of products made to control frizz. Just go the drugstore and read the bottles. It's not hard to figure out which product you need.

How much would a ceramic straightener cost?
I'll look for Frizz Ease.

Okay... I just found out I have 81 bucks in my wallet!
Is that enough to get a good quality straightener? I haven't tried pomade.. Once I run out of gel, I'll get that. (I have a LOT left)

Lol, I've not layed foot NEAR a drug store, let alone been in one. Eh, I'll look for it this weekend. I have to write a report on The Vampire Lestat, though. And I'm putting in excruciating detail. It takes around an hour to write a paragraph. I'm kinda near done, but not near enough.

What's wrong with gel? Does it not hold correctly?
And what's Pomade?

I see.. Well, it'll still be at least a few weeks even withthe straightner until my hair is even at the tip of my nose. I'll try pomade when it's long enough, though.

I've just invested in the "Ultra CHI" straightening iron. It's the best one you can get and it runs about $200. But I have a huge amount of hair that needs straightening. If all you'll need to straighten is your devillock I wouldn't worry about spending that much though. The cheepest ceramic straightener I've seen was $60 my friend has one that was around that much and they work fine if you don't have too much hair to straighten. Ceramic straighteners are amazing you don't even need any product with mine. They do some kind of crazy voodoo magic on your hair. I would deffinitly reccomend getting one.

Still I think a less expensive one would work fine. Just don't ever get one of those nasty cheap ones with the metal plates. They are a waste of money and do nothing at all to your hair. The CHI is amazing and wonderfull and lovely though. I love mine and it's voodoo magic with all my heart.

I'm not rich!
Where do I get 200 shells?
I don't suppose I could whore myself to a hundred fat chicks for 20 bucks...

So just a normal $60 porcelain straightener would be fine?

All hail the CHI! The CHI is the luxury model of ceramic straighteners; the best on the market. I've had good results with my $80 ceramic iron, though. My hair ends up shiny and smooth.

You should be fine with a cheaper model since you're only straigtening your fringe. You can find them at Target for $25.

The important thing is, like lustandlunacy said, to make sure you get a ceramic iron and not a metal one. The metal ones do a lot of damage to your hair.

Okay. I'll make sure to watch out for that.

Only $25? Nice.

I'm probably going to go today or tomorrow.

Yeah... I wanna get Zero Wing and an emulator.
And #0000FF and #FF0000 are hex for colors. The pound sign indicates it.

Fully translated, it's

Roses are red
Violets are blue
All my base
Are belong to you.

Yes.
Every color has a hex. This hex is then used to define a color.

But "All my base are belong to you." is referring to a game called Zero Wing, which I think was for the atari.
It was translated improperly, and something along the lines of "CATS: Your base now belongs to us." (CATS was the enemy) became "CATS: All your base are belong to us."

Thanks maggot
That's cute - I love dodgy translations! I never had an atari so I missed that one (I had a megadrive instead so I was always playing Ecco the Dolphin and Sonic!)

*goes off to look up "hex"*

Wikipedia: In mathematics and computer science, base-16, hexadecimal, or simply hex, is a numeral system with a radix or base of 16 usually written using the symbols 0–9 and A–F or a–f.

Umm... yeah. I sort of get it. O_0
So "all your base..." is a joke about base-16, AKA hex?

Damn, have I analysed all the humour out of this or what?!

It's cute though, I like it!
