Not fitting in
Hey Daz, as someone who is never in the loop, I can understand. The easiest way to go, don't even try. It's better out here anyways.

It's quiet too quiet.
Wow why did everyone all of a sudden go quiet?
I've never seen this place so....well, dead!

"It's quiet too quiet." has got to be the most horrifically horrendously stupendously the STUPIDEST thread I've ever set my eyes upon.
For this reason, I've moved (MERGED, I MERGED it) it to ".:Randomness:."
-yes, yes it is.

A friend sent this to me. It is a clothing label from a small American company that sells their product in France. Here's the translation of the French part of the label.
Wash with warm water.
Use mild soap.
Dry flat.
Do not use bleach.
Do not dry in the dryer.
Do not iron.
We are sorry that
our President is an idiot.
We did not vote for him.

And now for something completely different.....
you know, it really is amazing what some people can get research grants for these days
London ducks quack it louder
Victoria de Rijke of Middlesex University compared ducks in central London to peers in quiet, rural Cornwall as part of her academic quest to answer the crucial question: 'Do ducks quack in the same way all over the world?'
for the full story:
http://story.news.**********/news?tmp..._britain_ducks
im just curious... exactly when did this become a pressing question in the world???

i got a better one Daz..
the AMERICAN GOVERNMENT, (wise souls that they are) spent 2 million in research to see if the sound of jet engines bothered pregnant horses..
i'm so glad that our children's education dollars are going to good use

FELIX POWELL- Music Composer
Story: Powell, then a British staff sargeant, wrote the music for "Pack Up Your Troubles In Your Old Kit Bag and Smile, Smile, Smile" in 1915 and entered it in a WWI competition for the best morale building song. The song won first prize and has been called "perhaps the most optimistic song ever written."
Final Irony: Powell committed suicide in 1942

Darn Maims, don't belong to Lounge so I can't send you anything...
I'd screw Anni too.
I'm teaching the kids at my pool how to swim, and I'm pulling my hair out..... Bah!
The message on my phone-
Hello, this is Kyleen's cell phone. My brother Chris is a jackass, my friend Kelli (Davena) is a whoer, my manager Adam thinks he's cute, my friend Jessica is the Queen of the Universe, my man Erich is gorgeous, and my mom is a crazy old bat! Leave a message.
