We need a "No Soliciting" sign for the drawbridge.
Either that or electrosexual left herself logged in.
The "JOIN US" disturbs me.

Hold on keep your fingers off the trigger for now. The post is unlike any of her previous posts as far as I can remember so it stands to reason that her account may have been hacked. Lets give her a chance to sort things out and explain herself. If she does provide reasonable evidence that it is her and not a bot and that she really did post that well then fire away.

It doesn't matter. Not a fan of Electro, anyway and look for any excuse to tell anyone to fuck off. And seriously, how hard is it not to get hacked? Seems liek someone else needs the sticky note pad of shaming.

True, this is out of character for him/her/depending on how she dressed today.
I think she left herself logged in and someone borrowed her session.

Well seeing as how you would have said it anyways then, fuck away. But keep in mind plenty of people have been hacked even though they are normaly very responsible with their accounts, Humane weren't you hacked not too long ago(or somthing else preventing you from logging onto your usual account)?

Haha! No, that is a bug in the password change system. If you change it twice in rapid succession then it requires the admin to re-enable your account, mainly to protect against hackers heehee.

Ok well not a valid example but the intentions behind the example still stand. Less than 10 posts before 5000 HP.

Has Electro opted out for claiming the female gender now?
No offense.

We really need somthing to refer to people who do not fall within conventional gender boundaries, somthing that works in past present and future tense.

I heard people are using 'ze' as a gender-neutral pronoun. Although I would rather say 'they.' I have a female gender identity issue right now and think it's amusing when people say "he/she/i don't know anymore"
This is out of character though. Since when would Electro become a born again Baptist?

well that is kind of the thing about born agains, it can kind of happen suddenly, but it doesn't look to me like Electro really posted this

"They" is incorrect, because it refers to plural.

This is actually not true. "They" didn't use to have a number to it. It was a perfectly correct neutral singular pronoun.
And it doesn't sound as stupid as "she/he", "(s)he", "ze", "hirs", et cetera.

I'm pretty sure I remember my tenth grade English teacher going on for several days about how "they" can only be plural. To mention a single person of indeterminite gender, it's correct to say "he or she."

Shakespeare, Thackeray, and Mark Twain:
"Tis meet that some more audience than a mother, since nature makes them partial, should o'erhear the speech." (Hamlet)
"Arise; one knocks. / ... / Hark, how they knock!" (Romeo and Juliet)
"That's always your way, Maim—always sailing in to help somebody before they're hurt." (Huckleberry Finn)
"A person can’t help their birth" (Vanity Fair)
The generic "he" was only a preference, not a rule.

If that's all you've got, I'm not convinced.
It's not surprising that it's been used in literature, because it's one of the most common English mistakes there is.

I'm sorry about the profanity. Not because I'm trying to speak 'clean' (bitch motherfisting cocksucker tits)
But because there's no need for aggression. It just sincerely surprised me that someone didn't know that "they" is perfectly correct as a singular pronoun, let alone the fact that it's the most accepted neutral pronoun in current times to diminish the focus on masculine default pronouns.
